It was a delight to stay at this little hotel which is in easy walking distance of the centre of town but still quiet and off the main streets, so no traffic noise.
The small staff are exceptional: helpful and friendly and they care about their guests.
We would stay there again, for sure.
Breakfast was minimal, with some sugar cereals, fruits, bread and jam. Always coffee ready!
All other aspects were 5 stars, and we could not be happier as a family. The beds were a little small for 4 people, so we got a discount for another room that was not sold. Pedro and Martha were very helpful and made the stay comfortable and we felt very safe here. So much so that we left our (not so small) children alone at the hotel while we went to the market.
Price, service, room quality and feeling welcome, taken care of and secure, made this a perfect stay!
Beautiful boutique hotel in a perfect location a block from Paseo Montejo. We stayed with our family, enjoyed the pool, courtyard, and peacefully quiet rooms. We would absolutely return. Marta and Pedro were incredibly accommodating and made us feel very much at home. Highly recommend this hotel for families, couples, or solo travelers.
This is a very cute small boutique hotel in a superb location, one quiet block from Paseo Montejo. It is impeccably clean and the manager Martha is a wonderful person, helpful in every way. You can walk everywhere comfortably. There is a light continental breakfast but many coffee shops and bakeries nearby as well.
This hotel is a renovated colonial home that has a lot of elegance and history. The staff is accommodating to helping with scheduling laundry and restaurant reservations. The pool on site is perfect for cooling off on a hot day. The staff also provides fresh coffee, pool towels and cereal for breakfast. It’s a great place to stay since you are blocks away from the Paseo de Montejo!

The hotel has a lot of potential — it’s really pretty, clean, and nicely decorated.
However, it’s located very close to a nightclub, so Saturday night was far from quiet.
Our room had two double beds, but they were quite small (probably less than 140 cm wide), which was not comfortable for a couple.
The breakfast was also disappointing: no fresh fruit, supermarket-style sliced bread, mini boxes of cereal, and cookies for kids.
What was most frustrating, though, was the lack of a 24-hour reception, which is not mentioned anywhere when booking. One night, the person in charge was not there when we returned, and we were locked outside for an hour. We had to wait in the bar next door, and the staff even called the police to help us. The management did not answer our messages and only apologized the next day.
Future guests should be aware that there is no night staff and that communication can be unreliable. It’s a beautiful place, but the service and organization need serious improvement.
Martha was an incredibly kind and helpful host/manager of this property, as was Pedro. They ensured all of our needs were met and were always available to help. The hotel itself is beautiful, just as you see online. The pool is lovely and refreshing. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Merida, especially if wanting to stay close to Paseo de Montejo. However, one can readily walk to the centro in 20 minutes or less or take a taxi. The room was very comfortable and quiet. Plenty of hot water in the shower and coffee/pastries were put out every morning as noted. Many kind thanks to you both for our best stay in Merida yet! We will pop in to say hi when we move down in July :)
Martha and Pedro were gracious hosts. Very comfortable and quiet. The room was lovely and modern. Wifi was speedy and the continental breakfast was perfect. They provide a coffee maker in your room, and a mini fridge. There is a microwave available where the breakfast is served so you can reheat your leftovers from dinner. There is a small safe in the wardrobe too. I would definitely stay here again
