The best time to visit Merbok, Kedah, Malaysia, is during the dry season, which typically runs from December to April.

During these months, you'll experience consistently sunny weather and lower humidity, making it ideal for exploring the outdoor attractions. The sea conditions are also calmer, which is superb if you plan to enjoy activities around the coast or islands. This period avoids the heavier rainfall of the monsoon season, ensuring a more comfortable and predictable travel experience for all visitors.

For families, visiting between December and February can be particularly appealing. The pleasant weather allows for comfortable outings to places like the Bujang Valley Archaeological Museum without worrying about sudden downpours. It's also a good time for relaxed boat trips or enjoying the local beaches.

Couples looking for a peaceful getaway might prefer the shoulder months of March and April. While still dry and sunny, these months often see fewer crowds than the peak holiday season, offering a more intimate experience.
