Pleasant rooms on the Passer River

Windsor Hotel in Meran was a fairly recently renovated hotel in an attractive older building. Along the promenade on the Passer River it’s very close to the Old Town and the thermal springs. Nice staff and pleasant rooms.

Merano is a special little gem that we just loved. The hotel is beautiful and Dan was so helpful and very funny. The staff were super friendly and breakfast was great. Definitely worth the trip!

Fußläufig zur Innenstadt gut erreichbar entlang der Etsch. Bis auf den Straßenlärm tagsüber - das Hotel selbst war ruhig und angenehm. Das Personal- allen voran Daniele- ein Muster an Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft!! Auch das Zimmer- direkt am erstklassigen Pool und Jaguzzi- war gräumig und für uns beide (73 und 78 Jahre) ideal gelegen, weil ebenerdig. Kompliment!

Schönes Hotel mit tollem Service zentral in Meran

Wir waren als Paar hier. Ein sehr schönes Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Service, super Frühstück, einer Poolbar, Pool und Jacuzzi. Alles top!! Es gibt auch ausreichend Parkplätze, man sollte nur den Parkplatz vorher klären oder (Tipp) direkt vor dem Haus parken und die Details vereinbaren. Schönes Zimmer, alles sauber und sehr freundliche aufmerksame Mitarbeiter überall. Das Hotel liegt recht zentral an der Passer (der Fluss durch Meran, der die Altstadt von den übrigen Stadtteilen trennt und auch neben der Meraner Promenade verläuft). Zu Fuss sind es nur ein paar hundert Meter, etwa 5 Minuten zur Promenade. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Ideale, zentrale Lage des Hotels um Meran zu erkunden. Mit der Klimaanlage liess sich nachts ruhig schlafen. Bei geöffneten Fenstern Verkehrslärm. Zimmer sind sehr gut ausgestattet, bequeme Betten. Modernes Bad mit begehbarer Dusche. Einstellhalle im Hotel zum Parkieren vorhanden. Sehr gutes Frühstück.

Great Hotel, Family owned and Operated, Terrific

Had a wonderful experience at the Windsor Hotel, cannot stress how wonderful the owners were and how comfortable the room and amenities. Location was great, few blocks to the Center and the Therme Spa and hotel provided discount for spa visit. Breakfast was nice, coffee hot and all served with a smile. Christina, the owner cooks the morning cakes fresh and everything was delicious. Will definately stay there next year for the Merano Wine Festival. Marro, Christina and Klaus, many thanks.

Das Gebäude ist ein Altbau, aber innen ansprechend renoviert. Die Zimmer sind gross und hübsch möbliert sowie mit einer Klimaanlage ausgerüstet. Die Lage ist sehr zentral, zu Fuss erreicht man die Altstadt wie auch den Bahnhof in ca 5 Minuten zu Fuss. Im Garten befindet sich ein Schwimmbad sowie Liegestühle und Loungemöbel, leider ist der Strassenlärm während der Stosszeiten etwas hoch, aber das Rauschen des Passerflusses wirkt ausgleichend. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich.

It is a very nice and relaxing hotel. You will be well taken care of by friendly and helpful staff. Our room was spacious and very clean.There is also an outdoor swimming pool which made our stay even more enjoyable. Good WiFi reception and delicious breakfast. We can highly recommend this hotel.
