Our group of seven plus three dogs stayed in the farmhouse for a week during the summer and were very comfortable there! The house is large and very private, and we wish that it had been cooler weather so that we could have enjoyed a fire in the inside fireplace. We did somewhat miss having a dishwasher, but we survived! The listing and pictures are accurate, so you know that while it might not be the most luxurious accomodations, the affordability makes up for that. It is a drive to get back to the house from any stores/gas/towns, but that's also something to be expected in that area. Overall, we were pleased and would not hesitate to stay in the farmhouse again!
The farm house was very rural and isolated, perfect for some relaxing away from it all. The kitchen was not stocked very well, so consider bringing what you need if you are planning on cooking most meals there. The microwave didn't work either. The house has some insects/bugs/spiders, not unexpected with an old farmhouse in the fall. The AC worked better than expected given the unseasonably warm temperatures! Overall, we had a pleasant stay.
Excellent location for us as we waited for our home to be built in Adair. Very accommodating and helpful when construction delays hit us. Very thankful for the kindness shown to us during our stay.
