"Loved the stay at Peebles. Very helpful staff. Nice room with a very comfortable bed. Love the older elegance feel. Beautiful grounds. Loved visiting the alpacas and chickens on-site."
"Room was good
Sauna/gym was good
Food was excellent
Staff were great
The corridors were a little tired looking but since I don’t need to sleep in the corridor what difference does it make."
"This hotel is in an amazing location and the views are stunning. The food, staff, grounds and pool etc were what definitely what makes this hotel a 4 star. The room however was rough round the edges with threadbare carpet, holes on the armchairs, bed base pretty rough and the TV unable to get basic channels. The bathroom was beautiful and the room was really clean. It just needs investment but it is huge!

"Stayed here for one night before a running event in Selkirk the next day.
The staff were really friendly and advised on parking when I arrived. My room was clean and comfortable.
I hadn’t booked a table to eat but they squeezed me in at the bar. My burger was delicious. They also had a great selection of local beers."
