Literally there is no complain at all but all fun. The ocean view, sunrise/sunset, the beach, the beautiful hikes to the neigbhor beaches/bays and I actually kayak to those bays, too, from the hotel. The breakfast is wonderful. If I have to nitpick, it is the lack of a socket (no socket at all) on the wall in the bathroom for my waterpik...

Chest infection after staying in one of the rooms
Having booked to stay at this hotel for 11 nights, we noticed that the entire room was damp. The carpet was damp, the bedsheets were damp, the sofa was damp. When we mentioned this to reception we were told "this is Malta". After a day of this, some engineers arrived to take a look at the air conditioning unit. They found that the unit was full of dirty water and needed to be drained and cleaned. The day afterwards I became ill with a sore nose and throat, by the following morning this had developed into a chest infection with coughing fits. So we spent all of Sunday travelling in taxis back and forth between the hotel, the local hospital, the medical centre and the pharmacy - to be diagnosed with a bacterial infection. I took a COVID test which returned negative and started a course of antibiotics for the week. To neglect the hygiene of air conditioning units in the middle of a pandemic is shocking. The hotel moved us to a different room on our 5th night, (with a better view) and I lost around 4 days from our stay recovering in the room. The hotel has point blank refused to reimburse us for our expenses and the time lost from our stay, having ignored us when we turned down their offer of a single free night. Irrespective of the above, the hotel is billed as 5-star, and it's a high 3 / low 4 at best. The decor is tired and run down, the rooms are dingy, the room carpets are heavily soiled and need to be replaced, and the sofa had a horrible musty smell.
