Reception staff were very welcoming and couldn’t do enough to help. Breakfast was lovely (just a shame there weren’t pancakes everyday for the kids). Room really clean, excellent size. Pools and spa facilities spotless. The area is lovely, quieter than the main areas of Malta but still plenty of lovely restaurants nearby and nice beaches. Overall amazing stay.

Terriffic family stay

An amazing stay from start to finish. Minor issues were sorted quickly. Minor gripe was the kitchen in our room could do with refreshment. The breakfast and dinner buffets were good and very reasonably priced.

Hotel was fine - pool areas always very busy and not enough loungers. Some had reserved names on but no one told us how we could do that. Hotel is over 2 buildings so we had to keep going in lots of different lifts to move around. Room fine quite standard but the air con was quite low and didn’t cool as well as newer venues.

Lovely stay.

Gorgeous time. Beautiful location and lovely staff. Really enjoyed my stay here, even booked a spa treatment and it was one of my highlights of my holiday. Definitely recommend. All staff work so hard.

Amazing views

Pergola hotel is definitely a greay hotel to stay in. It had 3 pools and me and my family made full use of the spa area. I even went twice to get a back massage! The views was amazing from our balcony.

Wonderful hotel and amazing staff. I felt pampered from the moment I walked in the door, everyone was smiling and so helpful. My room was beautiful, overlooking the smaller pool and immaculately cleaned. The hotel is within walking distance of restaurants, shops and the beach. But if you don’t feel like walking there is a bus stop across the bridge from the hotel. Cave bar is a must, lovely cocktails and the view is spectacular.

The hotel is good overall. The rooms were clean, but the furniture is a bit outdated. The door to the balcony did not close properly. Very small TV without smart functions (no Netflix etc). Pergola Hotel and spa

Amazing spa hotel with great facilities, very clean. Every person we had contact with was friendly and professional. The indoor pool and jacuzzi are fantastic. There are 2 outdoor pools which we didn't use as we visited in February. Location of the hotel is perfect if you rely on public transport. Easy access to Gozo as well. Overall very good experience, we'll definitely be back.

We stayed at this hotel only one night. Overall it's a good hotel. We had a studio. It's a really large room, maybe the kitchen unit and wardrobe makes it look bit like 3* and not 4*. Breakfast buffet had a good variety. Sauna, gym a indoor pool was open till 11pm, which was good as we were out all day long. I think the best is the view from infinity pool to local area.

Room was clean but well used so I’m not sure how clean it really gets. It was always a bit moist in there, I guess that’s the tropical air or something. But any clothes we washed/bathing suits, were wet for days and we could only wash and dry properly them when we got to Paris. I guess that’s why they offer a laundry service for a fee. It would have helped if the A/C was stronger in our room. The pool was great! Music on from 10am to 10pm with a great view from our room, overlooking the pool and Mellieha Bay. However, the drinks in the cave bar were wildly overpriced. 9€ for a Spritz! I had one, then went to the store and bought 3 of the for that price. Lots of amenities around. Convenience stores and restaurants a plenty.

Nice Hotel, but not the economy room

Hotel was lovely. Poor area was nice and clean. Cave bar was fine but entertainment only on 2 nights. Cocktails seemed to shrink towards the end of our stay in late October. We stayed in an economy room, which had a massive bed but too big for the size of the room and not much space to move round it and storage for clothes lacking with only 2 small drawers. Needed less hanging space, more shelves. Room smelled of damp and mould, although none visible. Dining room staff at times seemed harrassed at breakfast, in the evening rudely banging cups at 7.30pm while setting up for breakfast while people were still arriving for dinner. Not acceptable. Food was good, although cakes/desserts were pretty much the same/similar wacv night. Overall nice hotel pleasant stay. Nice beach at the bottom of the steep hill. You can take a bus uphill, though.
