The bedroom was average but super quiet which I really appreciated. The location is excellent and the reason I chose to stay a week at this hotel. It is accessible to Southbank, the CBD and all forms of transportation. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I have had. Overall I would recommend this hotel.
Great location. I stayed 10 days. Ongoing problems with tv casting and one of two lifts not functioning causing major holdups. Front desk staff ok. Housekeeping very helpful

Check out was terrible. Although no one else was there and parking had to be validated anyway, I was asked to use the self checkout and then go to the counter and validate the parking????? Why not check me out and validate my parking. You wasted my time!!!!

Rooms were very nice but were stocked poorly. Empty tissue box, 2 coffee and 2 tea sachets etc...
Staff were not very welcoming and appeared unhappy.

The location is fantastic - very central to everything so conveniently able to access dining, shopping and activities. The hotel staff was friendly, especially on the front desk however the housekeeping was disappointing. Our tea and coffee was never refilled, floors werent vacuumed or mopped and we had to ask for bins to be emptied.
Decent property for the price. Secure building with key access only to floors. Room was a decent size and nice and clean. Bathroom was a bit small and dated- could use a deep clean in shower/floor. Also did not have (or could not find) the fan for the bathroom. Staff were lovely and always helpful.

Not happy.
Room wasn’t ready on time, provided a diff room with single bed. Couldnt sleep properly, sleep was terrible, worst ever.
Although smallish the rooms are more than adequate. The location is excellent so close to great bars and restaurants plus a short walk to city shopping.
Very enjoyable stay.
Great location. Plenty of dining options available around the property. Parking available at Wilson. Hotel validated parking. $30 per night. Be sure to print your tickets and bring it to the reception for them to validate it instead of tapping your card to get in the parking lot!
Really enjoyable stay. Great location with adjacent parking with ticket validation. Secure building in which we felt safe.
King room was a good size, with a comfy bed.
Staff were really friendly and nothing was a trouble to them.
Will not hesitate to stay here again in the future.
The property had been renovated since our stay a year earlier and the feel and the look of the reception and the eating area on the bottom floor made the place feel really good.
Staff on reception are always so polite and helpful...a real joy to deal with

Nice enough. Staff were great. Excellent location for Melbourne Park and shopping precinct. Rooms are starting to get a bit tired. Aircon wasn’t working in our room (so we moved rooms) then ironing board was broken. Mouldy grout in bathroom. Small things but enough to make us consider going elsewhere next time.
Our stay at Mercure was very good. Room spacious and comfortable. Close to all restaurants and shopping. Staff very helpful.

!st time staying there, very good experience, everything is walking distance, staff were great. 1 suggestion is to refresh the breakfast bar daily, the bacon was very dry.

Only downside is shower in the bathroom has no pressure apart from that was great.

Good location
We arrived at around 8:30pm with no front desk staff. Checkin was via a computer. The system is efficient but you have no one to ask questions of. I’m not a fan.
Location is good with Southbank just across the way. Car parking next door. Room was nice but bathroom could do with updating.
