Excellent location near shops, cafes, a supermarket and public transport. Parking was rather expensive at $15 a night.

Crawling insects in bedroom and bed. Spent night trying to sleep on couch, unsuccessfully. Was told by management that it was due to trees near building that council would not allow to be removed. I was told I was ineligible for any refunds etc as I’d booked through last minute. Management did apologise though. Not very impressed.

Thanks for your feedback, Josephine. Yes, the insects are from the elm trees that your apartment was adjacent and unfortunately due to our continuous attempts they seldom still enter the apartment if the doors / windows are opened. We have put in multiple requests with the council and are yet to hear back regarding eradicating them completely. Aside from this, we spray where and when we can. We're glad we were able to offer you a discount on your future stay, however.

It was convenient to shops, restaurants and transport. The receptionists were very helpful and pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable. The connecting doors on studio rooms did not keep out the noise from next door.

Bathroom was very small with no room to hold toiletries. Toilet was not fixed securely to the floor (it actually moved). Towels had dirty marks and shower leaked. Worst Quest we’ve ever stayed at.

We will definitely investigate the toilet and the shower to which you refer. Please let our reception team know of any concerns in the future as they are here from 7 am - 10 pm daily and would have been delighted to assist you. I had purchased the room for my brother and his partner as a Cmas gift. They arrived from the country to have a shower et al before joining us for dinner. They were handed a room key and on attending the room found it had not been cleaned and no other room was available. They had to leave and only accessed their room on return from dinner at midnight. No conpensation has been offered. Not acceptable!

Quest is a rather anonymous establishment --- a basic white box. But it is clean, comfortable and a good rate. My own top priority is that all this also comes with a location which is perfect for me (I have family living a few blocks away)

Nice big room, comfortable bed, shower over the bath was a bit difficult to enter. Train line very close to our unit means some noise but we slept well anyway.

Recommend, as close to the Austin Hospital
Being from Bendigo, we required accommodation to stay close to the Austin Hospital last Saturday night, as our 39 yr old son had had a stroke on the Saturday morning. Found a great cafe/restaurant to have dinner with our eldest son, who was there to support us in such a trying time.
