Overall, had a good stay there. Water was brown but there was a note saying it is safe to use and spa in the bath was a bit fiddly. Bedding was really comfy and clean and view from room was majestic. We were provided generous amounts of milk and cereal with complimentary fruits and juice.
Allowed for late check in and easy to organise an extra night. Helpful and knowledgeable staff about the area.
However was looking forward to a spa bath but it didn’t work
It is a very nice , clean and friendly environment , Quiet , Safe and very close to many wineries

Check in was easy, with the accommodation as described. We did have some issues with the property not being cleaned properly, and that the water was discolored which we raised with the owners who addressed what they could.

Our water is collected from rainwater . It is filtered and treated with UV light and is checked regularly. We attended to 2 cleaning issues but reflected that the guests were given early access . . We were able to rectify quickly.
I felt very welcome right from the start. This is such a lovely location, relaxing and quiet. The appt was great, good size, clean, modern bathroom and had all of the facilitates I needed. Highly recommended.
One of the few pet friendly properties around. Nestled in a beautiful gardens setting on a small working farm, the owners have encouraged wildlife to flourish and Birdlife and or amphibious friends are in abundance. Fantastic wineries just around the corner. Easy drive to Yarra Glen for supplies... Overall lovely experience.

Beautiful, calm and quaint accommodation with lovely rooms and scenery. Holly Lane Mews was super relaxing, the ponds and soft noises from nature made me and my partner feel at ease and content. We would definitely return.

Hi anonymous I am sorry you felt I was rude. Unfortunately when you book a room for 2 and a cast of many arrive at different times. It is left to the staff to decipher which room they wish to join etc . One could realise it is rather rude not to advise reception of the expected extra guests and that you wish to entertain them in your room. I note you noticed it to be a gorgeous property I am so glad you enjoyed it.
What a fantastic stay! What a great, peaceful location and so much to keep the kids (and parents) entertained. Snow, food, wine, cows, horses, kangaroos and of course Billie the Wombat!
Beautiful setting, well stocked breakfast provisions, comfortable bed. Only negative, shower over bath, difficult for anyone with a knee, hip back issue....

Loved how scenic the property was. It’s a pretty spot with lots of plants and birds. The welcome platter was delicious. We had a few issues: water from taps was discoloured (I think just rusty taps) and coffee pod machine didn’t work.

Good location & pretty farm. Comfortable bed & room. Breakfast was very ordinary....get your own out of the fridge! For $220.00 a night I would expect a cooked breakfast for a ‘Bed & Breakfast’ accomodation.

Thankyou for your review. The price has been the same for 5 years. We are one of the few places that allow one night stays. This comes at a premium.

Nice scenery
Expedia advised there was breakfast included but the room we got didn’t have any apart from fruit.
Very nice property, no phone reception so found it difficult to plan our days and call tour companies / taxi.
The room we had was the lowest costing and did need a little freshen up but it was great, away from everything and nice and close to some horses :)

Quiet & peaceful B & B - Roundroom unit
Unit was quiet & peaceful farm setting. Lovely gardens and a lake with heaps of frogs singing. Bed mattress was very soft. Toilet seat was wonky, shower was a little too small, very comfy couch. Wander around at night & you may find a couple of the local little ringtail possums foraging for food in the trees. But also be ready to have some large eight legged visitors come inside to join you.
Great location base to go exploring the Yarra Valley.

Thank you for the lovely review. We take care of the eight legged friend whever possible. We are very close to the wild life here. The frogs are extraordinary.Thank you for staying with us.
Had a great stay here. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable with useful amenities. Great for a family holiday away from the city, short drive to Yarra Glen town centre and Healesville. Incredible gardens and grounds. The owners are very personable and helpful. Gave us some great tips on good playgrounds to take our young son to. Thanks Joanne and Brian!

Thank you Matt it was lovely to have you stay it is great to try and make it a home away from home. The children certainly love it here.
Holly Lane Mews was a little further from the town than we expected but it was still a lovely stay out on a working farm, surrounded by cows, birds and a symphony of frogs in the evening. The room (Cream Queen Room) and bathroom was quite old fashioned but comfortable. Breakfast (Continental) was left in the refrigerator for us and it was more than adequate. Joanne was exceptionally helpful and kindly did some washing for us. The bath/shower was a little interesting as it had no shower curtain so care needs to be taken when getting in and out of the bath as the floor does get wet. Walking around the gardens is beautiful with so much to see and enjoy.
We only stayed for the night, however was greeted with a friendly host and happy to accommodate us even though it was after 9:30 pm before we arrived. The room was clean and bathroom quite new, lovely fresh towels and a great breakfast included. Thankyou Joanne for your helpfulness with our trip, we appreciated the advice to get us to Warrigal the next day.
