We feel like our own place
I had the pleasure of staying at this place that exceeded my expectations. The location of the property was ideal, it was conveniently situated in a vibrant neighbourhood, with easy access to local attractions and cafes. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the local culture, attractions and atmosphere. I was pleasantly surprised by how much better the property looked in real life than in the pictures listed. The hosts responsiveness to any questions or concerns I had was remarkable. Overall my family and I had a great time.

Likes; fire place, location and view, two toilets, board games- we enjoyed playing scrabble, Dislikes: the dishwasher is not working. Suggestion: need to have a big mirror even one portable.

Currawong holiday house is perfectly located iwth beautiful views and close to shops /eateries / cafes. Facility is well maintained and has everything you need to have a relaxing holiday with family.

The stay was great, loved the communication with the owner. The house was clean and very comfortable. I would suggest a sensor light at the back door and lighting on the entrance, because entry after dark is a bit unusual. Would recommend a stay, and thanks to the owners for the lovely warm and cozy fire and amenities.

Beautiful and comfortable renovated cottage

Lovely short stay
We had a couple of nights at Currawong Holiday House. Its a very comfortable house, lovely and warm, the fire is wonderful in this crisp weather, close to the main street and a great location to explore the local area. Carmel was always very helpful, thanks for the stay :)

Cosy, comfortable retreat
My family and I stayed here for three nights for a short getaway. Really close to Melbourne, but you still feel like you've got space and some peace. House was really comfortable; the fire place was perfect after a day of walking. Even though it was cold and wet outside, we could curl up next to the fire after a day outside and take in the scenery. The house had everything we needed, and the owner was very responsive in answering any questions we had. I hope we can come again!

Perfect place to stay for a family wedding, and catch up with interstate friends.
Carmel was great to deal with . We had one postponement, and changes of people staying, but she made it all stress free Really good layout for our group. Previous guests mentioned the driveway, and yes it was steep, but easy access and plenty of space at the top. Likely to return.

Great place, close to everything Warburton has to offer. Steep hill to get to the property, but great location and good house with everything you may need for your stay (no WiFi, but that's not necessarily a bad thing). Thank you!

Lovely views from lounge, kitchen and deck. The house was clean and had a relaxing feel. There were games and DVD’s. The kitchen and bathrooms were modern and well designed. A lovely place to stay. The host is very responsive to questions. The birdlife was a delight to view from the deck.

Great location easy access to Mt Donna to see snow. Only feedback is to include linen & towels as part of the booking. And internet! Kids these days can’t cope without it. I didn’t realise you had to pay extra for linen which was disappointing. Carmel was lovely and easy to deal with.

Weekend Wedding
Perfect spot for a weekend wedding in Warburton. The house was clean and big enough for 5 adults. Nice kitchen and bathroom. Everything we needed was available. Drive-way is tight, if you have a big car you may have difficulty driving up to top of drive. Thanks for having us!

Great place to explore Warburton
Really good sized house close to town and with a great shed for storing bikes safely if you are heading out to the many trails around. Carmel was a pleasure to deal with. Will be back to explore more of the area

Great house for a weekend in the hills. View over the valley from above Warburton very picturesque, all facilities exactly as described. Communication and arrangements with property manager clear and easy, also accommodated some uncertainty in the group numbers for our booking. Highly enjoyable stay.

We stayed for 3 nights to explore the Warburton district as a pre-XMAS holiday. The accommodation was excellent!!! Spacious, clean, new kitchen and bathroom facilities, excellent heating and cooling options and best of all - THE VIEW!!! Magnificent scenery across the mountains from the living, kitchen and dining areas. All topped of with a magnificent deck with BBQ and a games room for the kids as well (table tennis was a favourite for the kids)!!! We are really glad we stayed. Great option. Thanks for everything.

Enjoyed a weekend in the Currawong house with four mates in April 2019. House was really comfortable and perfect for our needs. Lovely outside deck with beautiful views and friendly birdlife. Would particularly suit a family with kids. Only slight issue is that it is up a steep hill from town, but no problems if you’re driving around.

Relaxing stay in picturesque Warburton.
We loved our stay at "Currawong". The house is very comfortable with great views of the mountains from the balcony. We spent hours watching the visits from the many beautiful native birds. The house is only a short drive from the river and town centre. We definitely hope to return.

Well appointed home with games, books, DVD's and two luxurious sofas from which to watch TV. Very pretty view from the balcony. Ask owner for sun umbrella if required. Older people may find the walk to local township of Warburton a bit daunting due to very steep hill.
