Wonderful views
We all had a great time and enjoyed the balcony that has wonderful views.The house was very clean and spacious . Glen was so easy to communicate with even letting me know we could check in earlier which was a nice surprise.

Great house!
Really enjoyed relaxing here. Plenty of games for us to play and was really cosy during the thunderstorms! One thing, that aircon needs to be fixed - although the amazing breeze helps cool down the place in the evening!

Lacks Cooling
The house was great, lots of entertainment for kids, the outdoor decking area was nice to sit out on and the view was lovely but unfortuntely there were too many insects so you couldn't sit outside in the evenings to enjoy the cool breeze. The property is not fenced off on either side of the house so pets could easily wonder off towards the front. The biggest downside to the property was the lack of cooling the house had, there was an old wall airconditioner upstairs only, downstairs was extremely hot and majority of the bedrooms were downstairs which made sleeping very uncomfortable. Definetely needs new & more cooling systems installed throughout the house and bug zappers is a must too.

Amazing Coastal Getaway
This property had the perfect accommodation for our group of 9 with spacious room and plenty of places to relax. The home decor was brilliant for the location being relatively close to the beach with a stunning view from the top balcony. There are also many ways to entertain with a dedicated “games room” with table tennis, darts along with the free wifi and Netflix presented. Can’t recommend enough - Will be looking to stay here again soon!

we had the best stay here, the house is beautiful and so clean. so many areas to relax and sit outside. the best family area upstairs to watch netflix and such a well decorated house. !! would recommend if you have a car to drive as it’s a little bit out from main rye but never an issue for us.

Amazing spacious lux getaway stay
Everything was so perfect, the surfy decor made it so so homey and the wood fire was incredible. There is so much space and seating areas and the balconies give such an amazing view to watch the sunset. There is so much to do here also, table tennis, games, movies, etc! I have no faults and I’ll be booking another stay here in the future for sure!

Perfect getaway with a 5 star view
This property was nothing short of sensational. The amenities were fantastic, decor was lovely and all the beds were comfortable. The owner had set up the open fire for us so all we had to do was light it. Having coffee pods for us to enjoy each morning was a nice touch. Last but definitely not least there is the million dollar view of the city straight across the bay along with Arthur’s Seat and amount Martha to your right to enjoy from either of the 2 balconies. We will be back.

Lovely house in Rye
We had a fantastic time in this lovely house, plenty of space for our large group. Ideal for families, with large decks to enjoy the sun and for the kids to play. Check-in was easy, Glenn very helpful. Excellent value.

Stayed at Glenns house for 2 days with 10 other guest and it had everything you could ask for! Great location near the beaches and a couple minute drive into town! Also Glenn was a very caring host :) Would highly recommend.

A good time spent with family.
We needed a house that could fit our family (6). Plenty of space, nicely renovated. Only thing the backyard is not that user friendly as the grass (weeds) were overgrown and the elevation is so steep, the deck is spacious though, big plus.

We had a wonderful time at Tootgarook. With three teenaged children, the house was the perfect size for us and the upstairs living area with the huge tv was great for us all to spend some time together. We hope to go back again.

Well presented spacious house sleeping 9 people comfortably. Great living area upstairs with fireplace leading to deck outdoors. Downstairs was the kitchen with a great gas cooktop and large oven. Dining table sits 6 and 3 at the bench adjacent which suited the children. Pet friendly and upstairs deck is enclosed. Downstairs deck and compound are not enclosed. Easy drive to shops and nearby attractions.

Inside house is amazing. if you have full mobility, but my adult son who has down syndrome and not steady on his feet fell down stairs half way down where the stair narrows other than that everything was spotless and everything you could possibly need is provided. but out side would not be safe for small children or people with limited mobility like us, no railing or anything but loose bricks to hold onto when climbing steps at front of house and out back some dangerous drops possible from back decking for little children, also no railing for climbing up to decking at clothes line. But we had a great stay over all.

This is a lovely house. The upstairs and downstairs decks are great spaces to relax with a lovely view. The house was very clean, and well presented. Lovely large living area with large couch. Great kitchen. Modern bathrooms. We enjoyed our stay however there are a few things that niggled us that would have really enhanced our stay had they been addressed before our arrival. The house is advertised to sleep 10 however it only sleeps 9. This meant we had to bring a mattress for one child. In one bedroom the blind on the window was broken and there wasn't a globe in the bedside lamp. We were only provided with 4 rolls of toilet paper for 10 people for a 3 night stay. This was nowhere near enough and we had to buy more. There wasn't anything like a brush or scourer to wash dishes with, only dishwashing liquid and only one chux cloth to use. The bath mat in one bathroom was very wet when we arrived!? The dining table only seats 6 yet the house sleeps 9. There was only cutlery in the drawer for 6 people. We did find more cutlery in a container right at the bottom of the pantry and pushed to the back however this was discovered when we were cleaning up before check out. Surely this belongs in the drawer so it can be used! A few more plates and bowls are needed also. There wasn't any soap or hand towels in the bathrooms. I think these are worthy additions. The kitchen cupboards are quite high and a step stool would be useful to reach the upper shelves. The bed in the upstairs bedroom is extremely soft and saggy. No good for your back. A fan would also the a great addition for hot nights as upstairs gets very warm.

Hi sarina thank for your feedback We purchased the property in June last year and since have fitted new doors the upstairs pergola and only on Sunday after you left I met with my electrician who has fitted 5 ceiling fans in the property I will address the other comments you made and if you stay again I’m sure these would have been addressed
