One of the best
What a wonderful hotel in a beautiful location! It is located just outside the main city, but driving around or biking is easy in the area. The hotel sits right on the Elbe River and you can take in all the beauty and serenity from the restaurant area. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We will be back!

We travelled by bike from Copenhagen to Prague and stayed at this hotel on our route. This was my favorite hotel. We were able to check in early and they had a secure spot for bike storage. Our room had a balcony that overlooked the river and it was incredible. We ate dinner at the hotel and it was delicious. Breakfast the next morning was very good as well. The hotel is less that one mile from the bridge into the historic part of Meissen. We spent the afternoon and early evening exploring Meissen before returning to the hotel for a quiet dinner overlooking the Elbe River.

Winter Weekend in Meissen
A very cofortable stay; quiet, with brilliant views of the River and Meissen. A nice dinner menu and a tasty breakfast.

Nice property on the Elbe River. Albrechtsburg can be seen across from the back of the hotel. Paved walking/cycling path behind hotel along the River. We has a basic room which faced the street so there was of course a lot of traffic noise. If you can swing it, ask for a room facing the river. The staff were pleasant. We sadly do not speak German but there were some staff members who did. The restaurant food was flavorful. The breakfast buffet which was included with our room was okay, not great. Our room did not have air conditioning which would have been a bonus as we visited in early August and Germany was in the middle of a heat wave. Hotel provides free parking.

Fantastic country retreat
Beautiful location. Friendly, helpful staff. Very much out on its own, so not much else apart from countryside and the river in the immediate area. Rooms on the side next to the road can be a little noisy, but please remember you are not next to the M1. Bathroom was a little tired, but spotlessly clean. Wi-fi in room was dodgy. Room lighting was a bit dim, but don't want to be too critical as it didn't detract from a great overnight stay.

Es ist ein schönes Hotel. Das Zimmer war hell, sauber und praktisch eingerichtet. Das Abendessen war super lecker und der junge Mann, der uns bedient hat, hatte trotz Stress immer ein nettes Wort auf Lager. Unser Frühstück war auch liebevoll hergerichtet und ausreichend 👍. Nur die Parkplatzsituation könnte man noch etwas verbessern. Trotzdem Danke liebes Knorre-Team - wir kommen sicher noch einmal 👋

Lautes Zimmer. Das Zimmer zeigte zu einer Hauptstrasse. Neben dem Zimmer war die Absauganlage für die Küche und machte den ganzen Tag ein lautes Geräusch.

Sehr ruhiges Hotel.
Sehr ruhige Lage, die es erlaubt nach der Arbeit ein wenig abzuschalten. Gleich am Elbufer kann man einen schönen Spaziergang machen. Guter Service, trotz der schwierigen Umstände. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Elberadweg. Der Blick auf Elbe und Albrechtsburg ist phantastisch. Die Zimmer sind komfortabel,die Betten sehr gut,das Frühstück liebevoll. Alles absolut empfehlenswert (auch unter Coronabedingungen )

Uns hat die Lage des Hotels direkt an der Elbe und die kleine Terrasse direkt am Zimmer mit Blick auf die Elbe gefallen. Der Weg in die Altstadt ist gut in 20-25 Min. zu laufen und führt direkt an der Elbe entlang. Alternativ gibt es eine Buslinie (Haltestelle direkt am Hotel). Das Restaurant haben wir nicht besucht. Das Frühstück war für uns o.k.; ist aber nicht spektakulär.

Gerne wieder, gutes Hotel in schöner Lage
Das Hotel liegt sehr schön im Elbtal nach Meißen mit Blick auf die Stadt und Burg. Mein Zimmer war ausreichend groß, ansprechend eingerichtet und sauber. Das Bad war recht groß und ebenfalls gut eingerichtet. Obwohl das Zimmer zur Straße war, war es in der Nacht nicht laut.

Schön gelegenes Hotel mit sehr guter Küche
Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und konnten das Zimmer schon vor der Checkin Zeit beziehen. Das Zimmer war ziemlich groß und sauber. Brausehaltung und Fön waren kaputt, wurden während unseres Aufenthaltes nicht repariert. Essen war herrvorragend und das Service freundlich. Beim Frühstück gab es alles was man sich erwartet. Leider haben wir kein Zimmer mit Elbblick und Balkon bekommen. Trotz Bitte darum war es nicht möglich.

Nice Hotel in Meissen
Nice and quiet Hotel in Meissen. Free safe parking. Restaurant ok. Room Nice with good matresses. Close to Meissen Altstadt. Will be back again When i am in the Area Saxon. Staff is servicemindede.

Ganz schönes Hotel mit Blick auf Elbe & Burg. Etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber alles war sehr sauber & das Frühstück fanden auch alle toll. Leider gab es kein WLAN & nur extrem schlechten Handyempfang (dieses Problem hatten drei der vier Mitreisenden bei unterschiedlichen Handys & Anbietern). Das erschwerte die Kommunikation in der Gruppe, da nicht alle im gleichen Hotel untergekommen waren. Nichts desto trotz zu empfehlen, da auch der Preis sehr günstig war.

Tolles Haus, tolle Lage, gutes Restaurant
War dort für eine Nacht geschäftlich. Das Haus liegt ganz toll an der Elbe mit Blick auf Meißen. Das Restaurant ist gut und hat vernünftige Preise. Mein Zimmer war groß und gut eingerichtet. Einziger Nachteil: Das Zimmer ging zur Straße und da wurde es bei offenem Fenster (Hochsommer) morgens relativ laut. Sonst alles gut. Der Service im Hotel und Restaurant war hilfsbereit und freundlich. Ein kleiner Tipp für den Garten es Restaurants: In den Bäumen über den Tischen sitzen öfter Vögel, die ihr Geschäft fallen lassen. Besser sitzt mn unter Schirmen. Trotzdem eine tolle Empfehlung.

etwas ausserhalb von Meissen ab direkt an der Elbe Frühstücksbüffet: Service war schlecht -Kaffee und Gedeck mussten von einem anderen Tisch geholt werden Frühstücksbüffet wurde nicht nachgefüllt, wir waren relativ zeitig, zum Glück
