Able to switch to a river front room .. very nice and much better than the roadside one. Good beer and wine in the restaurant. Meals ok. Parking and dog friendly a plus. Great views of castle and river.

One of the best

What a wonderful hotel in a beautiful location! It is located just outside the main city, but driving around or biking is easy in the area. The hotel sits right on the Elbe River and you can take in all the beauty and serenity from the restaurant area. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We will be back!

Hotel mit Restaurant, Parkplatz und Aussicht

Das Hotel liegt an einem Berghang und bietet vom Gastgarten aus einen guten Blick auf Albrechtsburg und Dom in Meißen, die man ansehen sollte, mit dem Auto in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Empfehlenswert auch die Besichtigung des Museums in der Manufaktur Meißen, ein kostenpflichtiger Parkplatz befindet sich in ca. 200 m Entfernung zum Eingang. Zurück im Hotel kann man dann gut abschalten, ein liebevoll gestaltetes Zimmer mit Balkon und Blick auf die Elbe helfen dabei. Das Hotel bietet ein Restaurant, so dass man den Abend gut ausklingen lassen kann. Parkplätze vor dem Hotel und auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite sind ein Bonus, ebenso der Lift. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich, man fühlt sich im Haus willkommen.

Ein wunderbarer Platz um durch die Weinberge zu wandern und am Abend bei einem leckeren Essen und einem Glas Wein den Tag ausklingen zu lassen. Hinzu kommt die herrliche Aussicht auf Meißen und das überaus freundliche Personal. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Gute Unterkunft

Im großen und zbin ich sehr zufrieden. Das Hotel liegt schön direkt an der Elbe, das Personal ist sehr freundlich, das Zimmer war sauber und geräumt und auf Höhe der Zeit. Die Matratze, oder der Lattenrost sollten mal getauscht werden, da liegt man schon ganz schön durch. Das Frühstück ist in Ordnung und halt bereit was man so braucht. Brötchen, Marmelade, Wurst, Käse ... Sowas eben. Solide. Auf dem Tisch wartet bereits eine Kanne Kaffee , das ist nett - aber anstelle auf jeden Tisch per Default eine Kanne zu stellen, ob da jemand ist, oder nicht, vielleicht besser warten ob es welchen braucht - und dann erst machen. Der Kaffee war nämlich leider das schlechteste am Aufenthalt.

Es war sauber! Zimmer zur Straße etwas laut, Hellhörigkeit vom Flur, Lüftungsgeräusche im Zimmer bis ca 22.00 Uhr.

Es ist ein schönes Hotel. Das Zimmer war hell, sauber und praktisch eingerichtet. Das Abendessen war super lecker und der junge Mann, der uns bedient hat, hatte trotz Stress immer ein nettes Wort auf Lager. Unser Frühstück war auch liebevoll hergerichtet und ausreichend 👍. Nur die Parkplatzsituation könnte man noch etwas verbessern. Trotzdem Danke liebes Knorre-Team - wir kommen sicher noch einmal 👋

Lautes Zimmer. Das Zimmer zeigte zu einer Hauptstrasse. Neben dem Zimmer war die Absauganlage für die Küche und machte den ganzen Tag ein lautes Geräusch.

We travelled by bike from Copenhagen to Prague and stayed at this hotel on our route. This was my favorite hotel. We were able to check in early and they had a secure spot for bike storage. Our room had a balcony that overlooked the river and it was incredible. We ate dinner at the hotel and it was delicious. Breakfast the next morning was very good as well. The hotel is less that one mile from the bridge into the historic part of Meissen. We spent the afternoon and early evening exploring Meissen before returning to the hotel for a quiet dinner overlooking the Elbe River.
