Short ski trip

A short ski trip, stayed in twin room on ground floor. Compact but workable as a place to sleep. Great daytime staff. Night staff a bit suspect as one openly admitted to setting fire to a microwave in the early hours generating a very disturbed night for all guests. Oddly no apology or recompense was offered or given

Hôtel très agréable, établissement et personnel. En revanche très mal dormi les 2 nuits… Très chaud dans la chambre malgré des nuits fraîches. Obligé de dormir la fenêtre grande ouverte avec bruit d’un générateur quelconque non loin. Chambre également très mal insonorisée, réveillée très tôt les matins par des voisins (ou personnel) qui donnent littéralement l’impression d’être dans la chambre. Dommage… Ce n’est peut être pas une généralité mais chambre 53 à fuir.

Low cost service

We arrived in the morning and we were informed that the check-in was only available after 2PM. We asked to leave our bags in the hotel while we went to Ski and the only option available was to leave our bags in a public area (reception). When we returned the bags were in the same place and no service was provided to helps us to take the bags to the room. In a hotel where you pay almost +300 EUR per night the minimum we would expect is to have someone to carry our bags to the room.

Närhet till allt!

Bra hotell med närhet till allt! Byn är underbar med bra restauranger och shopping om plånboken tillåter. Bästa Alpbyn! Back restaurangerna är toppen oavsett var du hamnar i backarna och skidåkningen är ok för den som vill glassa runt och inte behöver dom extrema backarna för då har du närheten till Chamonix över dagen. Rummen var inte som på bilderna och vi fick inte rummet som var utlovat enligt bokningen och dom försökte rätta till det med ett annat rum men ändå inte som förväntat. Servicen var blandad men väldigt trevliga i receptionen.

the room we had wasn't the level expected for that price. The door to the balcony didn't close properly -> there was always a draft. Breakfast cost extra. at the bar it took about a hour to order a couple of beers and a cup of tea (evening, about eight o' clock). the staff was really great.

Way way overpriced and in shabby condition. Over 500 euro a night is insane for a “suite” where you have no full length mirror, are required to stuff a towel behind the shower head to get the water to spray at you, and/or cannot get an attendant to process a ski ticket because they are too busy. Staff barely said hello to me in 4 nights. Moreover when I booked which extremely restrictive cancel policies, I was led to believe by Expedia that this was the only room available - not so once I was there. Regrettable reservation and no flexibility once you get locked in. Location is good though.
