Awesome cabin to stay at. We love the area and have been hunting and fishing here for over 20 years. Views and location is great. Cabin is clean and has all the essentials. Already booked for next year for 2 weeks. Renee and family do an awesome job. Everyone is so friendly.
The cabin was perfect for our stay, close to the wedding venue for our daughter. It was quiet and clean. The views were incredible. Highly recommend this cabin!
This cabin was perfect for staying in Meeker! It was clean and comfortable, and had all of the amenities we needed. We spent most of our time on the back porch, sipping coffee with the sunrise and grilling as the sun set. An eagle flew over the river every morning. The views are incredible. Renee responded to all of my messages in a very timely manner. We hope to be back one day!
The cabin is lovely with fabulous western touches in the decor. The porches are beautiful as well as the view!
I would like to see them invest in better cookware and sheets. Otherwise, we will stay again next year!
Good communication with owners. Loved the fire pit and outdoor lighting and BBQ area. Cabin was a little chilly but a heater was provided in a bedroom. Beds were a little small but comfortable. Had a good time soaking up the fall colors and excellent location to USFS and fishing. Quiet neighbors.
Great cabin for your hunting stay while in Meeker. Second time I have booked this property. Tv was a welcome addition. Plenty warm when cold outside. My recommendation is could use more on the side of glassware, cookware (cookie sheet, flat oven tray) and a wine opener would be great. One bed could use a mattress upgrade. Bit of a hole in the middle. Had a pleasant stay other than not filling my tag.

Cabin Getaway
The location was good for what activities we planned. The beds were an issue. The twin beds in the loft were fine for children or a group on a hunting or fishing trip. We slept on the bed in the front bedroom and the box spring was smaller than the mattress, so my husband kept sliding off the bed at night. He didn't sleep well. The listing should be sleeps 6 not 8.
Small cabin perfect for one or two, but lift allows more. The interior is rather dark, but I brought a small LED lamp. I took my own sheets and towels so clean up should be easier for you. I left notes re: sheets/towels. It was farther from the water than I thought and access wasn’t easy so I only fished one day. Scenery was magnificent-drive through 2 national parks. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Suggest addition of a step stool for the kitchen cabinets and a grab bar for the shower. Thank you for a peaceful stay. K. Olsen
Perfect for celebrating Christmas with our daughter and her family who live nearby. Host had festive decor and even found a cd player for our Christmas music. The cinnamon rolls were delicious. Warm and cozy even though a snowstorm came through.
What a wonderful, clean and incredibly beautiful place to stay! This cabin had everything we needed and is very unique and comfortable! The views are amazing and there are so many areas to explore! We were fortunate to see moose and horses wandering around near the stream/pond! We enjoyed our stay and it was difficult to leave. Communication was fantastic! We would definitely love to return! Thank you so much!
Quiet, Great views & includes everything necessary for a comfortable stay.
When we first arrived, we were disappointed with the empty, west facing deck (think harsh evening sun) right next to the parking area.....but THEN, we ventured out the north facing door to a wonderful deck with awesome views of the hills and shade from the harsh sun (it was in the 90's when we visited). The cabin is clean and includes everything needed for a comfortable but not excessive stay. We appreciated that many of the basics (coffee filters, sugar, ziplock bags, oil, paper towels, etc) were available in the kitchen. Plenty of towels and blankets are also available. Although there is a small RV park just steps away, it was remarkably quiet and peaceful. There is a cozy, safe fire pit just feet from the north facing deck that we enjoyed nightly. Renee was very responsive to us while visiting. If we return to this area, we would definitely stay in this cabin again.
We loved the cabin. One of us caught a large rainbow trout which was very exciting. River access could have been better, a bit weedy and steep. The white river is spectacular and since most of it is private the fishing is very good.
We stayed over the 4th of July. We attended the Meeker Range Call and watched the fireworks in town. The cabin is about 30 miles out of town so it was quite and relaxing but close enough to go to town if you want. We enjoyed fishing in the river and just relaxing on the porch with it’s beautiful view. The property manager was quick to answer my questions. Would love to stay there again.
