Very friendly staff and lovely clean hotel and gardens.
Pool was very nice also and plenty of spare loungers.

"Porta nova suites exceeded my expectations. It was my first time in Spain for a wedding. I saw the property on Expedia and instantly fell in love with the pictures in the amenities offered. Once I got to the property, I was met with a lovely receptionist who gave us a tour of the property and our suite and insured. We had everything. Our stay was nothing short of amazing the breakfast every morning as well as the views from every corner of the room was absolutely breathtaking. The staff is easily accessible through WhatsApp. And the cleaners were also very nice. I’m so happy with her. "Really nice hotel. Has the ‘solid marble feel’ of a high end hotel. That said I almost gave it a 4 star as the location isn’t great, the beach is just stones, and the hotel can seem almost empty. The spa is amazing but the gym could be improved and larger. Food was very good. "

"Absolutely suited my wife and myself, having breakfast i.e. cereal, on the terrace! Beautiful view from terrace! Convenient to walk to old town but many steps, might not suit everybody, with fantastic restaurants like Casa Vital and The Indian Elephant. Good base with bus and tram to see local area!
