I wanted to visit plaza botero which i heard was a sketchy area. The hotel in next to it and a great place to stay. It was clean and secure and the staff very helpful. Made me feel much safer and relaxed

I was surprised how good this hotel really is. although is a little inconvenient because the area around it is a little disturbing, the hotel itself is great with very large rooms and nice food options.

The property needs renovations and painting. It's an old hotel, but it doesn't smell bad. Given the hotel's history, they should maintain it better and improve or update the facilities. I always felt safe inside the property, it has a spectacular view of the historic center.
