Staff were friendly and helpful. The location was great for us too, being quite central. But the hotel itself, and facilities were fairly poor in comparison to other places we've stayed in, in Indonesia. Room keycard was broken and needed changing. Cramped shower/toilet with no soap or showergel/shampoo. No dining facilities. No choice offered as to what we got for breakfast, or when it was delivered to our room. Room wasn't particularly clean either.

June stay with two rooms

Booked two rooms to accommodate our party of four. My room was good with comfortable beds and pillows. Air conditioner in June worked well in our room but not as well in our second room. Bathroom was clean though shower area was a little small. Had to have sink faucet replaced but staff was quick on the repair. Lobby was clean. Staff/guard were always attentive. Location is good as it’s near three malls. No breakfast (2-star hotel), but we enjoyed nearby bakeries (Majestyk), cafes (Dominico), convenience stores, and eateries (Mie Ayam right across street).

NEW LUXURY HOTEL Artotel's new millennial-aimed hotel room: Stylish, cheap and Smaller than 19 Square Meters. Microhotel design by Yabu Pushelberg for Bobotel Medan. So to win back millennials, they're doing something very different: Launching a stylish microhotel, where trendy bars take precedent — and the rooms are cheaper and ultraslim. The stylish new hotel brand under the Bobotel flag in Medan that would feature “space-efficient” rooms more likely to be seen in a European hostel. But what they’d lack in size, they’d gain in youth-targeted perks: A Bobotel in Medan, Indonesia, features sound-reducing walls, free Wi-Fi, floor-to-ceiling art pieces and “luxurious power showers.” (15 Liters Per Minute) Vitamin C Filter Shower Head.  Fantastic location, food and ambience. THE BEST BOUTIQUE HOTEL IN MEDAN After all, this is Medan's first art-driven 5-star boutique hotel. Stayed for 10 days business trip. Staff were great. Breakfast was limited variety and very simple, but to me, I'm very satisfied as long as my tummy is filled up! Every corner of the hotel is kept clean and fresh. The room was comfy and more than adequate, for the small price we paid. Has access to good Swimming pool, Gym and Massage facilities. Location is fantastic, with eateries in every direction. Plaza Medan Fair situated just a short walk away. Mie Ayam Waringin is opposite. Small food restaurants and KFC in a minute walk.
