"My daughters and I spent a weekend here and enjoyed our stay. It was a new place that was very clean. We did need to take time between showers for water to heat up but that wouldn't stop us from coming again. I would definitely recommend this place! "

"What a great, cozy place. 25-ish min drive to many hikes as well as Duluth. Lake is very shallow, so safer for curious kiddos. The sauna was a great bonus. We did need to pop to the store to get spring water, as there was a distinct odor to the water (well water water softener I suspect), so recommend bringing water if you/your guests are particular about that.We would definitely stay again if we are planning a trip to Duluth. Loved it so much, we tried to stay additional days. Thank you for a perfect break from the city!"

"What an amazing place to stay! The Yurt is so charming and cozy, and has everything to make your stay perfect. The host, Megan, is a dream and provides all of the extras to make you feel at home. The Yurt was spotless and the bed was so comfortable. I felt like I was at the Yurt Ritz! It was magical listening to the night sounds - owls hooting, coyotes singing, and seeing a sky full of stars. I also saw wild turkeys and deer in the morning. I can’t wait to go back to this little retreat in the enchanted forest! "

"Really cute cabin on a very quiet lake! The cabin had everything we needed (except WiFi, but there was LTE coverage). We would probably bring our own kayaks if we were to stay again, as the sit-on-top, seatless kayaks didn’t work for us. "
