"Unfortunately Origin contacted us the day before our arrival and stated they relocated us to another hotel - no reason was given. Origin was booked because it was across the street from the wedding venue we were attending; however, once relocated, we were six blocks away. On the day of the wedding, by the time we found parking and walked, the wedding had already started. On a good note, the hotel they placed us in had free breakfast, parking on the premises was better, and the hotel was generous enough to upgrade our room. It still negated the fact that we were not in walking distance to the wedding - which was the initial reason to booking Origin."

"I cannot recommend this property enough! The host was kind, communicative, and even checked in on me multiple times during my stay. I will admit, I was a bit skeptical upon viewing the exterior of the property as the location is in a “sketchy” neighborhood (that’s what my Uber driver said when dropping me off), but I was not bothered by anyone a single time during my entire stay. I felt very safe and comfortable here as a solo female traveler. As for the interior, it is extremely clean, cute, and included all of the necessities such as silverware, coffee machine, towels, etc. The host even provided a little snack box with popcorn and other assorted goodies. If you’re traveling to Baton Rouge and wanting to stay near LSU, this is the place to stay!"
