"The motel was very clean. The owner and his son were very kind and ready to serve (I am sure the wife/ mother is wonderful also, but I did not meet her). My family was just looking for a quick place to stay the night and this place was perfect for that. And the breakfast was good."

"Wonderful water park for young kids. We had a 3 & 5 year olds and they LOVED IT! One splash pad type park with water inter 2 feet of water . A separate pool that went from 3 feet to 4 feet. The BIG slide is only open on weekends with a lifeguard. The pools are open from 6 am to 10 pm—so we got to swim before checking out by 11! Wonderful breakfast—all of this for under $100! Oh and the restaurant had delicious pizza for $25! We will be back!"

"Do yourself a favour: on your way to the Motel, stop at the Kwik Star and get some snacks and your favorite beverage. Get to the hotel, check in with the friendly, knowledgeable staff, then take your snacks and beverages to the overlook. You'll be there for a while. A long while. Cute, clean, quiet, AMAZING view that you'd never expect in Iowa. Well worth the visit. "

"We had an AMAZING time! The cottage was super cute! It is supplied with every amenity that you could need. Very peaceful, comfortable, and relaxing! Loved how close it is to Spook Cave and just minutes from dining and shopping options. We'd definitely come back and highly recommend this spot to others!"
