Sit back and relax!

Stayed in most of the time and just enjoyed the cabin. Very relaxing vacation. Close to town and a short drive to Blue Ridge.

Perfect little getaway

The property was nestled in a cute wooded area. The house was clean and well equipped. The owner was very responsive. We went ziplining and white water rafting nearby. A blast!!

Everything about this place was wonderful! Great location, and a beautiful home! Little things that weren’t up to par for me. The air hockey plug was broken, several towel hooks were broken or missing, the lighting in the bedrooms were poor, the hot tub was hot but one of the streaming jets was shooting water outside of the tub, couldn’t find the tv remotes for two of the TVs, these are just minor things but I have an eye for things like this. I did appreciate that the host provided firewood for us to use!I would definitely recommend this VRBO home but hope they fix those minor issues.

Had a great time celebrating my father's 90th birthday in your cabin! It was more beautiful than we imagined and the cleanliness was top notch! We hiked, shopped, and made smores in the outside fireplace! Thank you for a fabulous home to stay in!

What a great place to make memories!

We chose the Woodhaven Chalet for our New Year's vacation. The property was even more beautiful in reality than the pictures! This is a new property with all the amenities someone could have asked! Beautifully decorated and stylish, with a fully equipped kitchen, indoor outdoor fireplaces, firepit, game room and indoor outdoor tv's. Fully functional hot tub ready to jump in within minutes! Lynn was a great host, responds promptly to any questions and requests! The s'mores station and wine were such a welcoming surprise! Thank you for the 5-start experience, we will definitely coming back!

Blue Ridge Beauty

Our family stayed at Lynn’s cabin for our spring break and it was a treat! Lynn and her husband have thought of everything a guest might need/desire. From comfortable mattresses to a kitchen fully stocked with pots and pans to the porch bed swing dappled with throw pillows and a blanket! Between the main living space, the well covered porch, and the basement hang out spot (with an X-BOX!), our family was able to spread out while still being close. The hot tub was delightful! The adjacent lounge chairs were a lovely spot to nature watch. We actually spotted a bear cub lumbering through the woods behind the cabin! Everything was very clean and it is obvious the owners take great pride in caring for the cabin and thinking ahead for their guests. Their neighbors are super kind and helpful (our older children arrived first and accidentally went to the wrong cabin. The neighbor wasn’t home, but gave our kids their cell number through their nest speaker and once speaking by phone gave them directions to find the cabin. While all of that was happening, Lynn contacted another neighbor who actually drove through the area until she found our kids and had them follow her to the cabin. (The cabin is not hard to find. Our kids just neglected to pay attention to Lynn’s directions.) My favorite thing about the cabin was that Lynn has enough dishes for everyone! We are a family of 7 and both the indoor and outdoor dining tables had enough seating and Lynn had enough plates and utensils so that we only ran the dishwasher once a day. What a gift! This get away spot was a treat! It felt away, and yet groceries and downtown Blue Ridge were only about a 25 min drive. Our older kids even found a local gym to join for the week. This was a treat! I highly recommend staying with Lynn. I believe you will be blessed and able to rest and relax. She and her husband are excellent hosts!

Very relaxing!

Beautiful, quiet area with no steep roads! Far enough away from the hustle and bustle but great driving distance to everything the Blue Ridge area has to offer. Macaysville/Cooperhill are a perfect small mountain town duo with good dinner options without the very long waits Blue Ridge has. The outdoor living space at the cabin is perfect! The fireplace area was our favorite. Only thing that they could do differently would be to have firewood available for your convenience. We brought our own.
