Mbarara Airport Hotels from AU$25 (MBQ)

"A surprisingly well equipped and well conceived property in the south-western region of Uganda. It's very quiet, very well-designed and my wife says it is of European quality - which is a compliment! We stayed in the honeymoon suite which was very spacious. The facilities including gym are way better than in most Ugandan properties. It is a little overpriced and the food is unremarkable BUT if I had to stay near Mbarara and I could get the rate down by 30% this would definitely be my preferred...

"Great hotel and excellent staff. Definitely the place to stay if you're in Mbarra."

"We loved staying at Asamar Country Resort, and the staff was hopeful. It’s in a quiet area about 10 minutes away from downtown Mbarara "

"Its a peaceful place to relax, reception is excellent and professional. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in Mbarara."

"Lovely location for activities around Mbarara"

"The resort was nice and safe. The only issues: 1) room lighting very poor. Need to add lamps 2) Hot. Add a fan 3) The mosquito net was wobbly, not well secured We stayed one night. The breakfast exceeded our expectations. "

"DO NOT BOOK THROUGH EXPEDIA Hotel was fine - decent quality for the money. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was nice (though expect a Ugandan breakfast - Katogo and greens and potatoes and sausages). There's a nice view that's in the process of being blocked by a giant mall under construction. I did so and am in the process of trying to get my money back from Expedia; I...

"The property is serene very quiet place well lit and ammenities working well. Wifi was not working day 1 but it was eectified in day 2 they have a back generator"

"Sauna was nice and the rooms were cozy. Breakfast was okay, but outside. "

"Central location and helpfully staff. When we ask about exchanging currency, the manager herself went out of her way to accompany us 5 block to the bank. The hotel even called us one morning because we almost missed breakfast."

"At check-in, there was no salutation. I was never asked for ID or who I was. They led me straight to my room. This raises serious security concerns. The pipework under the sink was non-existent. So I had to deploy a bucket to collect waste water and avoid spillage in the room. Unlike any other hotels I have stayed in Uganda, there were no bedside tables, no bedside table lamps, no coffee kettle. There was very little natural light in the room. The windows are designed to remain permanently...

"I suggest that the hotel should improve on the mattresses by getting spring mattresses"

"Very good room (015) Something else is Terrible. The girls that took care of us had no idea of what’s expected of them"
