"This hotel claims they do not operate through Expedia, arrived at hotel late at night and they claimed to have no record of my booking despite funds having been taken by Expedia (Owner claims he has been trying to get the hotel removed from Expedia for the last 2 years??). Had to spend hours on phone with Expedia, at international roaming rates, to try and get a refund so that we could pay the hotel directly. Accommodation itself was poor, shower spraying into the ceiling with either scolding or ice cold water, damp seeping through all the walls in the main living area and socks were brown as a result of dirt on the floor. Avoid."

"The price it's too high and not worth it you compare with a places that cost R1000 per night,it real needs to be renovated to become a proper place plus u can't those old style blankets please vist other hotels like sun1 en road lodge en see wat u supposed to do"

"Site states it provides free shuttle to and from airport. But staff will try and chest you for 35 usd each way .. in cash ... Had to waste hours with Expedia still site refused tunyil I ask for charge machine and a recite. Too which they finally agree to derive.. do not trust or book. "

"This place is running a bait and switch operation. We booked a room for 5 people, since the listing said there were 5 beds and it could accommodate up to 10 people. But when our group of 5 (2 adults and 3 children) showed up, they were told they get 1 room with 1 bed. Our group was then repeatedly harassed until we paid for another room in order to not have all 5 in 1 bed. So they basically sell you one room, but then make you pay twice the cost - a classic bait and switch. Even if it had been at the original price, it would have been a terrible property. Their self catering doesn’t have any cooking equipment in it. The staff entered the cottage without announcing themselves, and they aren’t flexible to clients needs (eg making breakfast for a certain time). There aren’t adequate towels for a double room, and after the first night we didn’t have housekeeping. The staff isn’t trained and they use the lodge as if it’s their private residence. To sum up, the staff seemed angry we were there, since when clients come it’s like we are disturbing their privacy. So between being forced to pay double to a terrible property and poor staff, this is by far the worst experience we have had in our more than 30 years of travel to Zimbabwe. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS - any other place is better than this!"
