"Everything was perfect. Relaxing atmosphere with live entertainment in the afternoon. The breakfast buffet had plenty of options. The evening buffet had a different theme every night. For those who play it safe with food options they also offered pizza, chicken nuggets, hot dogs, and french fries. The snack bars had plenty of options from hamburgers, fries, nachos, fried rice, chicken and shrimp chow mein, and sushi. The servers were wonderful. Everyone was friendly and wanted to make sure you were taken care of. Rooms were cleaned and re-stocked daily. The only issue (and it wasn't terrible after being in the sun all day) the water for showering didn't get very warm. "

"We had a great overall experience at Gaviana Resort in Mazatlán. The staff truly stood out—they were more than excellent, always attentive, friendly, and willing to help with anything we needed. The property itself is clean, very accessible, and perfectly located. Being centrally situated with direct beach access, available parking, and within walking distance to the pier made everything incredibly convenient. The restaurant and bar were also highlights of our stay—beautiful setup, excellent views, and top-notch customer service. The only downside was the bathroom in our room. It felt outdated and not very well constructed. During our first two nights, the bathtub drain didn’t work properly and had to be “fixed” twice. By the third day, I requested a room change, and while the drain in the new room was better, there were still issues. The shower head sprayed water everywhere except where it should, and water leaked outside the tub due to the tile not being leveled correctly to drain inward. While this didn’t significantly affect our stay, it does seem like something the property should address, as it could lead to water damage over time. Overall, we enjoyed our stay thanks to the excellent service, location, and amenities—but the bathroom conditions could definitely use improvement."
