"We had a wonderful stay at this condo! It was beautiful, clean, and well maintained plus had everything you could possibly need to be comfortable during your stay. The location was perfect as well. Right on the beach and a short walk to main street made everything easy. We spent a lot of time at the pools because the beach was inundated with jellyfish when we visited and they were wonderful as well. We would definitely book this condo again if we find ourselves coming to NMB again. Thank you!"

"Alex is a gracious and wonderful host. Great communication and helped us try and find a left behind item. The house as a whole was great for our group, having the pool and beach access was perfect for all the little ones. The location and size of the house was fantastic. However, I do agree with a few other reviews that the house is in fairly rough shape cosmetically. Especially for the price we paid, I did not expect to see massive stains on the carpet in almost every bedroom, mattress stains, broken blinds, cracked tiles (in the kitchen and in the pool - safety hazard) missing pump covers in the pool, the stone fire pit was cracked and broken in several places and a broken kitchen chair just to name a few. You can tell this house is rented week in and week out but not kept up. Overall, I will gladly rent from Alex again, but maybe not this house until it’s refreshed or the price is significantly reduced."

"We honestly enjoyed our stay and would have no problem recommending the property based on the overall experience. The home was comfortable, and we had a nice time.Our main disappointment was the 260 cleaning fee. For that amount, we expected the home to be thoroughly cleaned before our arrival. Unfortunately, I had to clean the bathtub, clean the coffee maker, and sweep the floors and the steps myself. I understand that cleaning fees are part of renting a vacation home, but 260 is a substantial fee, and I feel the cleanliness should have reflected that cost.We also had an issue with the refrigerator/freezer. We understand that the instructions mention that it can take some time for the refrigerator to get cold after arrival, and we were prepared to give it time. However, even after three days, it still was not functioning properly. We were barely getting any ice—approximately 12 ice cubes at a time—and we were unable to keep ice cream frozen. So, unfortunately, this wasn't simply an issue of the refrigerator needing a little extra time to cool down.Aside from these issues, we truly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the property. We just feel that for the cleaning fee and overall cost of the stay, these are things that should have been addressed before guests arrived"

"We enjoyed our stay at the Avista in May in a different unit, but we have some feedback regarding this specific rental.On the positive side, the host was excellent; communication was prompt, and the check-in and check-out processes were seamless. We also appreciated the convenience of having an in-unit washer and dryer. When we reported a clogged shower, a maintenance member arrived that same evening to resolve the issue, which we truly appreciated. The unit is in a perfect location; however, the furniture and amenities are in need of significant upgrades to meet a reasonable standard of comfort. The beds were extremely hard and felt well past their lifespan, making for very uncomfortable nights. Additionally, the living room chair has broken springs, making it unusable. We also struggled with the living room TV, as there was no dedicated remote; the bedroom remote could only power the unit on without allowing for any other adjustments. Finally, the unit lacked extra blankets or throws. Because of these issues, we ended up spending approximately 140 dollars at walmart to make the unit more comfortable.With these needed upgrades to the unit and if the host remains the same it would be a perfect vacation spot."
