"Parking was crowded, the wall sockets didn’t work we had to charge our phones in the bathroom and kitchen. The condo smelled of mold or mildew and the towels had stains."
"The room was very nice. Bathroom was beautiful. Beds were comfortable. Staff was very nice. Continental breakfast brought up to the room was a great morning surprise. Location obviously was convenient to everything.
Only complaint is that the free play arcade was awesome, but machines were not that well maintained. Both pinball machines and one of the skeeball machines needed maintenance. Didn’t help that a couple parents were letting their kids run amok and climb all over the machines. Not the hotel’s fault that happened but they really need to make some changes with supervision.
Would absolutely stay again"
Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Asheville River Arts District
6/10 Okay
"The room was spacious and clean on arrival but there were only 3 bath towels and the room was serviced only on the 3rd day. The service was poor; bed not made up, no replacement of toiletries."
Sweet Delight: Tiny Cabin by the Great Smoky Mountains
10/10 Excellent
"Very close to some nice trails. Tiny, perfect for a little weekend. As pictured, there is no stove or full kitchen. Just a microwave, coffee machine, and mini fridge (no freezer). Cute little tv with streaming services. Shower is a standing one person shower. We went when it was colder and they had a space heater, but the bathroom was very cold in the morning lol (just put on some socks). It had AC (didn't try it of course since it was chilly). Cosby in general was super nice, very out of the way, trails weren't crowded. Nice small town and of course super beautiful. We went to Maddron Bald Trail and there's some gorgeous streams. Anywho, not fancy or anything but if you're just planning on going out and hiking, it's a nice little spot especially for the price. My stay was about 210 total for 2 nights, so super affordable even without a second person like in my case. "
"yes, there were shops nearby. The parking was okay but a little tight for a full size pickup. The room was really dirty, floors, the recliner, the bath room was also unclean. The room was advertised as handicap accessible, the shower did have grab bars but the toilet was low with no grab bars. I only walk with handicap aid such as canes or walkers and I certainly require grab bars around a toilet. Before bringing our bags into the room, my wife asked the staff if we could have a different room with at least grab bars around the toilet and we were told there were none available until the next day and then she was not sure that room would have grab bars in the shower. She told my wife that she could not be expected to know what every room had. We did stay the night but will never return. The room ended up costing us $179.00 for the one night, a Friday night why the increased cost according to the staff. I assure you this room should never cost anyone $179.00 on any night of the year. It was certainly a rip-off. I believe this motel and the lack of staff care should have some level of QUALITY CONTROL now and in the future. Please don't take negative reviews lightly."
