"I never had any direct interaction with staff, as none of my calls were returned. After some difficulty, I was eventually able to locate the key on my own. I went to sleep feeling uneasy about the parking situation, which was never clarified. Additionally, the bed felt unstable and uncomfortable. Overall, the experience lacked communication and basic comfort, and I would not choose to stay here again."

"We were very surprized at the size of our unit- large bedroom- kitchen- living room- lanai- beach front- spotless and updated very nicely. Location was great. Felt it was a good price for an ocean front room. Would definitely come back. "

"My husband and I stayed at the resort for a week at the end of March. The room was spacious and comfortable. The morning breakfast was much more than just a continental breakfast. Cook-to-order omelets, pancakes and french toast were also available. A shout-out to José and Chris who served us daily! We stayed in an ocean view room. I don’t think I would have enjoyed a room in the building closest to the road as it may be noisy from the street traffic. They were many terrific restaurants nearby + a Publix. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Booked the stay the same day we were coming in. The doors were locked when we got there to check in that night and we ended up having to get another hotel. Also, they told us that the staff member who was supposed to be there at night never showed up. Front desk was completely empty, doors locked and nobody would answer a phone call. Not the best way to run a business. Someone should be there 24/7. It was an absolute nightmare to get them to refund my money."

"Islander Resort was the perfect resort for a family with kids. The pool has zero entry and no super deep ends, it’s right on the water — there’s a basketball court and mini golf course right off the water, you can easily rent bikes as an amenity and bike around the resort or to other local shops… the list goes on. Islamorada is also family friendly island with lots of things to do— don’t skip Theater of the Sea. The Dolphin show wowed all 3 of the kids. We rented a car and drove from the Villas to the main resort but took the free shuttle a couple of times when needed. The Villa side is quieter but provides the space and layout needed for a bigger family. Truly the best of both worlds "

The property was beautiful and well maintained; the rooms were precious - well decorated and appointed, each had it's own private patio, and very clear; the staff were all friendly; the views were fantastic; and we could not have asked for a better experience."
