"Pura Vida Paradise!! Amazing house and surroundings - a peaceful retreat for our family to relax after an adventure outing each day. Loved breakfast on the patio and sunset swims. Quick and clear communication with the host and the on-site property manager. Highly recommend Uvita waterfall, surf school in Dominical, Nauyaca Falls, and all the local food and drinks. Our kids (ages 10 & 11) are already begging to return next year! Thank you for sharing this little slice of heaven!"

"This is a cute little property off the beaten path. Lots of tico places to eat in the area but you need a car. We don’t recommend the seafood place across the highway though. Breakfast was amazing, especially the homemade bread and condiments. The laminated note in the room about not getting sand in the beach towels was a little odd!"

"Location location location! A short walk across the leas travelled road and you are at one of the most beautiful unpopulated beaches in Costa Rica. The hosts are very gracious and helpful. We had everything in our place to make ourselves breakfast and meals. Really great restaurants nearby Matapalo. The room was clean and my favorite amenity was the outdoor shower after the beach! Well, maybe a close second was the relaxing on the hammocks on the gazebo with the ceiling fan creating a gentle breeze. We were greeted by Capuchin monkeys more than once on the banana trees outside our window. Amazing place and I highly recommend. "

"A beautiful home with a beautiful view! We were a group of 4 couples. The property provided plenty of space for our group, comfortable beds, a nice kitchen(s), a lovely pool, and a wonderful view of the ocean and islands of Manual Antonio national Park. The home and casita were as described, and the property managers were attentive and helpful. 4X4 vehicle is a must to access this property. There was plenty of room for parking up to 4 cars. The community felt safe. We would stay here again."

"We are so thankful for Wil. Wil is the property manager (I'm not sure of his actual title). How helped us get up and down the mountain each day. He brought us food the first day while we were trying to figure out the best plans of actions. YOU WILL NEED A 4X4. Even with a 4x4 I am not sure I would have been able to drive up this mountain! We would have been okay to just stay in this mountain home and watch the toucans all week!The house was what was pictured. It was beautiful. As some other reviews stated, there is some maintenance needed, but it does not detract from the natural beauty around this home. The walk to the pool is beautiful, but it is definitely a walk with a lot of stairs."
