"The open layout of the house was a perfect match for our group. Since we had zero issues while we were at the house, my only interactions with the host were before and after. The host was always prompt and friendly, answering any questions I had. The house has all the cookware, kitchen equipment and tableware you could need. It was so much better furnished with all the necessities than almost anywhere else we've stayed.We've been going to Matagorda Beach for many years now and rented at least half a dozen of the houses and condos down there. We all agreed this one is at the top of our list for our next trip. "

"We had 7 ladies from the Rod and Gun Club and our sig is called the "REEL LADIES". We loved the clean and excellent layout of all of the rooms. Especially the kitchen!Our hosts, even provided us with Mimosas when we first arrived and we had prepared a "bring along" dinner for our first night. The only thing that could be improved on is to provide the kitchen with a set of kitchen sissors. "

"We went for the fishing, and had a great time. Blue crabs were excellent, over 3 dozen keepers in a few days.Fishing action was good, but fish were on the smaller side. Lots of sand trout, undersized reds and black drum, and a couple specks. Very few hardheads, a huge plus!"

"House was great. Clean and looked the same as the pics. Close to the beach. I loved the screened in porch. We spent most of our time there. Communication was great! I had a question and called after hours. I was expecting to leave a message but was pleasantly surprised when she answered. There were six of us. We knew the house was small and we expected it to be tight, but with the layout of the house and the outdoor space we were not on top of each other. We had a great time! Thank you!"
