I just had the best vacation with my family at the Islander in Mashpee, MA. My host was very helpful and attentive. I had never been to this part of Mashpee before and it was beautiful. I was able to visit old favorites on the Cape and find new favorite places. I highly recommend this cottage. It was very comfortable and the host was amazing.
The kitched is fully equipped for cooking. There is excellent water pressure in the shower. This Islander is fifteen to thirty minutes away from good hiking trails.
We enjoyed our stay very much. The rental was extremely clean and the neighborhood was very quiet. Ample pots and pans for cooking. Overall we would stay there again.
Delightful! The island is quiet but not completely isolated in winter, making for a tranquil stay. This lovely cottage is in pristine condition, with carefully chosen amenities and appliances, and decorated thoughtfully. Matt (host) was quickly responsive and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. We highly recommend!

Our host, Matt was attentive and responsive. The house and neighborhood were exactly what we were looking for our brief getaway. It was off the beaten path, quiet and beautiful. Whatever we needed, we found within a short distance.
I stayed the weekend with a couple friends. The house was exactly as listed. Clean, lots of amenities, extra blankets…Our host Matt was super responsive every time I reached out. There was lots to do in the area, even during off season. I would definitely recommend!
My four friends and I were very lucky we stumbled upon the Islander. Nestled away from the crowds, the location provided us with access to the bay just steps down the road and the nature of Monomoscoy Island. Really lovely, peaceful morning walks, followed by the great opportunity to explore the Cape. We spent a day in Provincetown, had a great visit to the national seashore, and went into different towns. We had a few questions and the hosts were immediately responsive and helpful. A couple things in the house could use a refresh/refill, but we went out to eat most nights so didn’t use the kitchen very much. A great visit and taste of East Coast Summer thanks to the Islander!
I was travelling with my 3 sisters from Canada heading towards Martha's Vineyard for a sister's reunion. We all appreciated the cleanliness and the attention to detail. The space was well appointed. The fridge ice maker did not work well so having some ice cube trays would have been helpful. I highly recommend The Islander.
Great place to stay! House was perfect for five guests. Love the fire pit on the porch. Great outdoor area. Great shower pressure! Great communication with the host. Only issue was the lack of parking but luckily we were able to find a place down the road and negotiate parking with them.
The house was clean and bright. The kitchen had everything one needed. Matt, the owner, was quick to respond to any questions. Would definitely stay here again as it was close to everything yet a quiet and relaxing spot.
Communication with Matt from the booking to the arrival and check-in process was excellent. My wife and I had been to the Cape in the past and wanted to share the "experience" with friends who had never been. The home was exceptional clean and cozy and proved to be an great place as our base camp after exploring all day. Would stay there again!!!! AAA
We were having a very relaxing vacation.
I loved the sunrise and the sunset, depending on in which room I was staying.
We were walking a lot on different areas, shopping is also very close nearby.
It was a perfect house for the two student daughters and me
A lovely and comfortable home from which to explore Mashpee and the Cape. The porch fire table is such a bonus at night. We really enjoyed drinking coffee on the porch in the morning and listening to the orchestra of bird life. The neighborhood is quiet and very pretty. Very comfortable beds and furniture. Well stocked kitchen. Owner is very attentive and responsive.
This is a perfect spot for a late summer getaway. The immediate area is quiet but not far from beaches and shopping. The property and very clean and well-maintained, and contained everything we needed. The fire pit on the front porch was a very welcome plus in the evenings. Our questions were answered quickly by the owner. We would definitely consider returning.
