They instantly booked another beach home 10 seconds down the road from this one for us. We ended up at NanSeas which was a beautiful and spectacularly stocked home. "Great Vacation Property! I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to go to the beach without the crowd!the house was clean and stocked with all the appliances you might need. There is an outdoor shower to wash off the sand from the beach. There is also a toy area outside stocked with a few beach toys. If you want beach chairs or shade options plan to bring your own unless you get lucky and someone who stays before you happens to leave a few with the toys. The water is pretty calm on this stretch of beach. Perfect for small kids. Most of the shells we picked up were full of crabs which was really cool. In the afternoon when the tide went out we did notice there was a stretch in the water of sharp shells and rocks so we mostly wore water shoes to go out in the water. Not sure if it is like this all the time or not. Took kids crabbing ay public beach 1/2 mile down rd. Crabs were everywhere!Stores : crawfordsville is the closest real grocery stores with a publix/walmart and is about 40min away. 15min away in panacea : There is a Dollar General. Crums:They have Ice, water shoes, beach chair, tents, boogie boards, goggles, sunscreen, carry lots of yeti cups/coolers, lots of apparel, crab nets tons of fishing rods/gear and much more! Loved crums! There is a liquor store across street.We loved our vacay here. Host was easy to reach the one time we needed to contact. Only downside I can thunk of is every bedroom has access to the porch (if have small kids) Otherwise 10/10 "
