Bed was comfy. I set the a/c way down when I got in the room, so it was nice and cool. Big storms overnight, but I slept like a baby. Appreciated the fridge to keep my water cold. The halls and especially breakfast area were hot and humid. My bathroom was not clean when I arrived. I literally had to clean it before I could shower and go to bed.

Tv reception not so good. Stations kept going in and out and it wasn't weather related. Looked out the window which was dirty and the shrubs were covering the satellites. Bathroom fixtures need updated and the tub was chipped. It was clean though . ⁰Biscuits and gravy good.

Below average...

Stayed here for the indycar races over the weekend and it was cheaper than the 300-400 per night that other hotels wanted.. Front desk person was very nice and check-in was quick and easy, Bed was comfortable but sheets and bedding not the cleanest. Electrical outlets by the beds didnt work and neither did the lamp. Had to slam the fridge door to get it to stay shut. Noisy neighbors all night and into early morning hours.

Quick Trip

TV remote did not work, shower bar was ready to fall off, very little water pressure. Beds were comfortable but little shady area. I personally would not stay here again

The bed and pillows were comfortable and it was nice to have a refrigerator. The odor of cleaning supplies or something was strong. And the sink drain was slow, toilet was loose and leaking at the bottom and the shower curtain was loose.

Staff was very courteous. My room was not clean. Floors needed to be swept, shower had hairs in it. Housekeeping was sub par. Did not eat their breakfast so I can’t comment on that.

Would not stay again.

Not the worst hotel I have stayed in. Toilet looked to have been used before we checked in and left soiled. Room had an odd smell we could not figure out. Half the tv channels did not work. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Staff was rarely at the front desk. I knew it would was not checking into a high class establishment but i have stayed in hotels half the cost that were far better maintained.

The young man at the check-in desk was very kind and polite. The older man and everyone else was VERY unfriendly and had no people skills. They could not even answer simple questions politely. The breakfast was awful. The milk for the cereal was spoiled, and the older man begrudgingly replaced it. The biscuits were harder than a rock, obviously days old. The little packs of creamer for the coffee were spoiled. The coffee was TERRIBLE!

Check in was quick and easy, front desk attendants were nice. We checked in late at night as we were just staying for a few hours to sleep before driving the rest of the way home. Upon getting to room, the door was ajar and light was already on. When we went in, there was an unpleasant odor in the room so my friend opened the window which fell of the track, thankfully he caught it and it did not break. There were two dead bugs on the floor in the bathroom, the smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling covered by a plastic shopping bag, when I went to look at the bedding, the sheets on one of the beds were dirty, the coverlet on that same bed looked unclean, and the beds had fleece-type which had hair on them. I did check all the towels even though we only used one hand towel and they were all clean.

I was most unhappy with the service. Rooms were not touched until I spoke up on the Wednesday (4 days into my stay). I stayed Saturday-following Sunday (8 nights), and they didn't give me clean towels except when I threw the dirty ones in the hallway (like everyone else was doing). My bed wasn't made until Wednesday, after I complained I needed new towels. It was very inconveinent. The breakfast bar was okay. Not "horrible" but overly exciting - the bananas were brown. It was in a conveinent location, to Knoxville Raceway - easy 30 minute drive. Be prepared to drive to Altoona, if you want more options for food - as there's very limited places in nearby for food - a subway, a perkins, a KFC/taco bell, a Casey's - that's it.
