Friendly staff, great location. Spacious room. Had to wait a little while for a free table at breakfast. Would have given full marks except for the renovation work that was going on downstairs which was deafening in the hotel room.

I really liked the special lift for people with handicaps like me. It went from the ground floor to the different floors. Like that no stairs to do - brilliant. Lovely big room with large comfortable bed. Filtered water in glass bottle on top of the fridge with a kettle and glasses. Decent tv, great thick blackout curtains. The in room breakfast is just right. Fresh fruit salad and fresh crusty baguette good butter and small jam pots. Even a little Nutella packet. Huge en suite with large white fluffy white towels. I asked for a handicapped person’s shower and loo. The shower was equipped with only one stability bar when there should have been two more on other walls. Didn’t feel very safe. Nice hot water with good pressure. All in all very comfortable and reasonably quiet.
