Wonderful views, spacious apartment
Patrick was a wonderful host who both picked us up from the train station and returned us when our stay was completed. He carefully explained every detail of the property and answered all our questions. The view of the town and sea from the property was stunning, the town was charming, and the nearby Calanques were beautiful. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend

A beautiful view in Cassis
Stunning views over the port and out to sea. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. A bus stop was within easy walking distance for those who wish to avoid the uphill walk from the port. Patrick was a gracious host, who kindly provided transportation to and from the train station.

Autumn romance
Overall, our experience was completely satisfying and enjoyable. The property was as advertised..very clean, efficient, with just about anything you would need for a comfortable stay. Multiple stores, including a vegetable/ fruit market, a meat/fish/condiments establishment, a boulangerie, pharmacy, a pizza/burger eat in/take out, a restaurant, a gas station, and a local vineyard are either a short walk or a short drive away. Patrick, the owner, was very hospitable, showing us the ins and outs of the property, as well as providing a walking tour of the port. Throughout our stay he was very conscientious and responsive to our questions and needs. The property itself offers an panoramic view of the port, the hills of Cassis and of course the Mediterranean. When not exploring Cassis and the surrounding area, we spent as much time as possible on the balcony monitoring the changing moods and personality of the Mediterranean. Just fascinating to watch the sea’s changing colors, wind blown waves, the regimen of fishing boats coming and going, and the affect of the sunshine/moon glow on the surface of the water....just mesmerizing! We should also mention that we took advantage of swimming at Bestouan Beach. The water was crystal clear and refreshing. There is a municipal parking lot conveniently adjacent with reasonable rates. A 20 minute walk from the beach are the picturesque Calanques, a site not to be missed. We would highly recommend this property, a gem overlooking and yet so close, to wonderful Cassis.

Patrick is an excellent host. Even before we arrived, he always responded to messages promptly. He picked us up at the train station and provided a very helpful tour of Cassis in his car. The apartment was clean and well taken care of. Even at the time of check out, he helped us find alternative transportation to our next destination when our plan to take the train fell through. It is clear he takes pride in his role as a host. It makes it easy to relax and enjoy your vacation.

5 days in Cassis
Arrived in Cassis on a hot and sunny Saturday morning. The view of the harbour, town and coastline from the balcony was very picturesque. Patrick had met us at the property and gave a very thorough and entertaining tour of the apartment. The HomeAway description and photos were accurate so there was no disappointment awaiting us except that car parking can be extremely tight. Access to the town is as described by previous reviews - downhill and ok going but coming back it's a long, steep climb and a resuscitation unit at the top of the steps would be good idea! The town is very good, plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. There's a town beach which gets very busy in the afternoon and the harbour has a choice of boat trips around the coast. Close to the property is an excellent enclave of shops for bread, meat, fruit and veg. Would recommend Cassis and Patricks place for a holiday, neither would disappoint.

Beautiful View of the Sea at Cassis
Lovely, spacious, modern, well-equipped and clean apartment looking out over Cassis and the sea. It was so relaxing to sit on the balcony and watch the days begin and end. We loved the walk into town, but it does involve crossing a busy street and walking down stairs. The busy street was intimidating at first, but proved to be relatively easy to cross or walk along.

Gorgeous views and helpful owner
Patrick was really nice and very helpful, even driving us around to find a lunch place the day we arrived. The place is very nice but it is a long walk into the town and back. It is a spacious and clean apartment and the views are gorgeous from the large balcony. Walking down is ok, 10-15 minutes, but back up is steep and takes about 20 minutes or more. You also need to cross a somewhat busy street without a crosswalk. We found that we didn't want to do it more than once a day, so that limited our ability to go back and forth into the town for meals etc., and taxi or Uber service was not available enough to be practical. If you have a car it would be easier. It was very hot when we were there and the living room of the apartment has an air conditioner that worked well, but the bedroom stayed pretty warm. The air never quite made it in there. A ceiling fan in the bedroom would have helped. All in all, a very nice and clean apartment and very helpful owner. Thank you Patrick!

Excellent Place to stay when visiting Cassis
We (family of 4) thoroughly enjoyed staying here. Patrick was a great host and the apartment had everything we could hope for. It is a 15 minute walk to town (down and up a hill) so those that do not like a little exercise may want something closer. There are parking stations in town and close to town but in peak season these can be fill up.

Lovely Cassis
The property was well maintained and in great condition. Patrick was an excellent host and was very helpful in familiarizing us with Cassis. A minor complaint we had is the traffic noise, other than that we enjoyed staying at the property.

Wonderful apartment with a fabulous view!
We loved our few days in Cassis. Patrick is a wonderful host. Readily available and ready to help with anything you need. The apartment is spotless and very nicely designed. Everything is new and works well. Parking was easy. The unit is in a building which sits on a hill on the second floor. Getting into town takes about 10-15 minutes, but you do have to cross a major road and take stairs down the hill. A workout if you have to do it several times in a day, especially in the heat. Just down the driveway from the apartment building is a gas station, patisserie, butcher with amazing fresh meat and fish selection as well as other condiments. Very convenient without having to go into town or drive. The view from the apartment speaks for itself and having a deck off the living room and bedroom was great. Highly recommend!

Amazing view within 10 min walk to the port
Patrick is nice and welcoming host giving good tips for sightseeing, food and drinking place. Apartment is newly renovated and looks exactly like on the pictures. Everything is clean and the apartment is spacious within walking distance (400m-500m) to a gas station, bank, pharmacy bakery, pizza restaurant, delicatessen shop and lunch place, vegetable/fruit shop. Towards the port, it will take around 10 min walking downhill and maybe 15 min uphill. Can definitely recommend this place.

Perfect hilltop view of the sea!
My husband and I stayed here five nights and found it a great base from which to explore the area. Patrick was very welcoming and attended to all the details to make for a comfortable stay. We appreciated how well equipped the kitchen was and were glad to have the washing machine in the kitchen and drying rack on the balcony. The local fruit and vegetable market, butcher and bakery were a plus. Glad we chose this place! Merci Patrick..and your English is great!

Beautiful place, great view, helpful host
This is a clean, comfortable, well-equipped apartment with a fantastic view of the ocean, the mountains, and the town. It's a great pleasure just to sit on the balcony and relax. The walk to town center is fifteen minutes down and twenty-five back so it may be more convenient if you have a car (despite the parking problems in town), but there are some stores and restaurants close by. Patrick is very helpful and quick to respond to messages.

Très bel appartement avec vue magnifique, fonctionnel et bien situé. Propriétaire très accueillant
Séjour de 3 nuits dans ce très bel appartement, très bien équipé (sauf lave-vaisselle) et très propre. Grand balcon d'où la vue est à couper le souffle ! Appartement bien situé, proche du centre ville à pied. Pas besoin de prendre la voiture si on aime marcher (pour revenir du centre-ville, ça monte bien donc il vaut mieux être en forme. Il y a des marches donc sans doute difficile avec une poussette). L'immeuble est au bord d'une route bien passante (qu'il fait traverser pour aller en ville, sans passage piéton, un peu compliqué) donc c'est assez bruyant mais cela était précisé dans les commentaires donc nous n'avons pas été surpris, et on dort bien quand même ! Merci à Patrick pour son accueil très chaleureux! Je recommande !

Très belle vue et à seulement 800 m du centre-ville
Parfaite communication avec Patrick, à l’écoute et très agréable. Logement confortable, fonctionnel et de qualité avec vue splendide sur tout Cassis, le château, la mer, les collines, un plaisir de manger sur le balcon en admirant tout cela ! Petit chemin certes escarpé (Cassis est bâtie tout autour d’une cuvette donnant sur la mer) mais qui amène directement au centre, d’où l’on peut ensuite partir randonner vers les 3 calanques. Très satisfaits de notre séjour !

Wat een uitzicht!
Keurig, modern ingericht en schoon appartement met een geweldig uitzicht! Van alle gemakken voorzien! (Enige minpuntje misschien: geen vaatwasser, maar deze hebben wij persoonlijk niet gemist). Met zo'n uitzicht ontbijten en dineren.... zo mooi! Zelfs als het donker is en je alle lichtjes ziet... Heerlijk bed en ook vanuit de slaapkamer een prachtig zicht op de baai. Geweldig wakker worden zo! De haven met prachtige gekleurde huisjes, het centrum en het stadsstrand (druk bezocht kiezelstrandje) is op loopafstand evenals een bakker en supermarkt. Het is een wandeling van zo'n 10 minuten. Een boottocht langs de ' 8 calanques' van 90 minuten is een aanrader! Helaas voor ons was de 'Route des crêtes' (van Cassis naar La Ciotat) gesloten i.v.m. bosbrandgevaar. Dit is een klif weg met op zo'n 7 punten een geweldig uitzicht op zee / de kustlijn (middels kleine wandeling / klim te bereiken - dan even auto parkeren). Wij waren hier met onze 2 zoons van 15 en 12 jaar. Zij sliepen op een slaapbank (hotelkwaliteit!) in de woonkamer en wij in de slaapkamer. Patrick is een enthousiaste gastheer. Het was een warm welkom: de bedden waren opgemaakt, water lag gekoeld in de koelkast en er was koffie en thee aanwezig . Patrick stond ons bij het begin van de weg op te wachten en had een parkeerplek voor ons 'gereserveerd'. Erg fijn! Patrick, bedankt voor je gastvrijheid en goede tips! Super dat je ons voor slechts 1 nachtje wilde ontvangen (normaal min. 2 overnachtingen, vandaar). We hebben van ons verblijf genoten en zullen je zeker ook aanbevelen bij onze vrienden. En wie weet, tot ziens!

Notre séjour s’est bien passé niveau activités par contre nous avons étaient très dessus de l’emplacement car malgré une très belle vue, l’appartement est très bruyant tout d’abord par l’avenue qui est très très passante nuit et jour et car cet appartement est très mal insonorisé car en plus d’entendre les voitures nuit et jour ont entendaient aussi les voisins très bruyant (ont les entendaient comme si on était tous dans le même appartement) franchement 11 nuits qui n’ont pas étaient de tout repos…

Vacances en amoureux
Accueil tres chaleureux de Patrick qui s'est montré disponible et de bons conseils tout le long de notre séjour. L'appartement est propre avec des installations de qualité, tout confort bien équipé et la vue splendide depuis le balcon donnant sur la mer et la ville. C'est idyllique pour le petit déjeuner et prendre un verre en appréciant le coucher de soleil.

Très agréable séjour
Nous avons passé quatre jours au sein du bel appartement de Patrick. C'est un hôte très sympathique et de bons conseils pour les différentes activités à faire. L'appartement est totalement conforme à l'annonce, bien décoré et fonctionnel avec une magnifique vue sur Cassis. Si jamais vous souhaitez aller en centre-ville à pied il faudra tout de même prévoir de bonnes baskets car la montée est rude ! Seul bémol, la route qu'il faut traverser pour rejoindre la ville, qui est sans passage piéton et énormément traversée par les voitures. Sinon tout était parfait.

Accueil très agréable de la part de la fille de l’hôte. Ce sont des personnes très agréables et disponibles qui savent répondre à toutes nos attentes et qui proposent des activités et des visites avec grand plaisir. Séjour fantastique dans cet appartement très charmant et surtout magnifiquement situé avec une vue mer incroyable ainsi qu’une vue sur le château de cassis. Appartement très propre et très bien conçu les matériaux utilisés sont de très bonne qualité. Arrivée autonome ce qui facilite énormément les choses. Apartment mit tollem Blick auf Cassis
Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in dem modern eingerichteten Apartment von Patrick. Der Blick aus der Wohnung und vom Balkon ist wunderschön. Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich und hat uns alles gezeigt. Die Kommunikation hat gut geklappt und wir haben super Tipps von ihm bekommen. Wir haben auch das Schlafsofa im Wohnzimmer benutzt. Auch dies ist neu und man gut darauf schlafen. Die rue de Crette, Wanderung in die Calanques und ein Ausflug nach Marseille waren unsere Highlights. Wir können Cassis und das Apartment empfehlen.

nous avons trouvé l'appartement dans un état de propreté impeccable. Coin cuisine agréable et pratique, nous avons d'ailleurs diné tous les soirs à l'appartement Terrasse agréable et vue imprenable sur le port de Cassis Accueil très sympathique du propriétaire , très disponible pour tout renseignement

Nous avons passé un court séjour dans cet appartement très bien situé dans Cassis avec une vue magnifique sur la ville et le port.L'appartement est très bien entretenu et conforme à la description faite sur le site. Vue magnifique , vacances de rêves !
L'appartement est superbe avec une terrasse et une vue sur cassis splendide . Idéal pour un couple ou avec un petit enfant . A proximité se trouve une petite boulangerie , un magasin de fruit et légumes ,.... tout est mis à notre disposition pour passer de bonne vacances . Soleil couchant et le son des cigales durant la journée ... un proprio qui conseille à merveille et sur qui nous pouvons compter . Rien à redire , vous ne serez pas déçu ! Les photos, tout à fait fidèles, parlent d'elles-mêmes : appartement refait à neuf avec beaucoup de goût, disposant de toutes les commodités. Vue imprenable à 180° sur le port et la mer. Centre ville à 10 mn à pied. Propriétaire accueillant et sympathique.

Super week-end
Très bel appartement, propre, bien décoré. Très bien situé , à 10 min à pied du centre, et de la plage. Propriétaire accueillant et disponible, donnant de très bonnes indications sur Cassis et les alentours !! Nous avons passé un super week-end !!
