2 floors apartment with panoramic terrace over the Vieux Port

  • DUPLEX-TERRASSE QUARTIER ST VICTOR: 180 ° PANORAMIC VIEW ON THE PORT ENTRY

The bay windows overlooking the terrace are fully retractable which, in good weather, extends the living room, creates a single indoor / outdoor space and enhances the panoramic view of the entrance to the port and the buildings. Intended for well-being, the flowery terrace houses a pizza oven and a barbecue where Mediterranean dishes are prepared at the end of the day while admiring the colors of the setting sun, to the rhythm of entering and leaving the port.

Information on possible activities on request:
-Booking tickets for exhibitions or shows
-Regional gastronomic dishes made on site by a chef: Bouillabaisse, Petits Farcis, Bourride, Pesto Soup, Octopus Risotto.

-Painting and drawing workshop on the Impressionists' websites
Located between the historic center and the entrance to the Old Port, just two metro stops from St Charles train station, this duplex terrace benefits both from the walking distance to the most popular sites in the city: the Saint-Victor Abbey, the Old Port, the Mucem, the Forts St Jean and Nicolas, the Panier, the Marseille History Museum, the Memorial of the anthem La Marseillaise, and the advantages of the seaside: the Plage des Catalans, du Prophète, Malmousque without the need for a vehicle.

Very disappointed

It’s hard to feel like you’re on vacation when you have to lug your bags up three flights of extremely steep and dangerous spiral staircases that were not in the description. I wish that was the worst part, but the “A/C” did not have enough to cool off the house, which isn’t great when it’s 90 outside. The description says 1 bathrooms but there is only one toilet that is shared between what the host says can house up to 8. All of the closets, storage and freezer were filled to the brim with the owners’ things. Also, and this issue wasn’t a deal breaker but they had some racist art & games and extremely provocative art that I didn’t really want my seven year old to see or have to to him while on vacation (at least to Americans). We booked it for four nights but found another rental in Cassis after staying one night. I understand people want to make money on rentals but clarity on the description is a must. I have never given a review under 5, ever.

location location location

Really enjoyed our stay here for a Rugby World Cup weekend. Great location walkable to old port and town. Couple of great bars 5m from the front door. Anne Marie was lovely. Only downside is the lack of lift and tight stair case so be warned if that is an issue for anyone. The upside of that is a fantastic view once you are in the apartment.

Wonderful

We loved this apartment. It was so nice to have a kitchen. We ran late on the way out due to our alarm not going off so I hope we left everything in good order. We thought we were going to miss our flight. We do recommend this place highly.

Lovely apartment in Vieux Port

Lovely apartment with stunning views over Vieux Port. We really enjoyed our stay here. Just 5 minutes walk from the old Port. Check in was very easy, and communications with the host had been very friendly. The only slight negative was the background traffic noise, but we soon got used to this and didn't really notice it by the end of our stay. I would thoroughly recommend this property.

Athmospheric apartment with fantastic views perfectly located

We absolutely loved our stay. The apartment is wonderfully decorated and charming throughout, with a great view over the old port, the city of Marseille, and the Mediterranean. The apartment is located right in the heart of Marseilles' Old Port, with lively and charming restaurants nearby. Anne Marie, the host, was super friendly and helpful, we couldn't have enjoyed our stay more - thank you!

5 days in Marseille

House sold for 7/8 people. luckily there were 5 . Access difficult stairs. Nice location on the harbor but very noisy. One toilet, one bathroom and one laundry room (funnily we were 5) The house is full of the owners' things and there is no space to hang anything. bad experience. To be avoided

Marseille

Anne-Marie’s property is bohemian with fabulous views over Marseille. Ideal location for our sailing weekend with a walk around the port to get to the launching esplanade. Unsuitable for the infirm as many steps up to the apartment.

quelle vue !

A beautiful place to stay in Marseille

This lovely townhouse well exceeded or expectations. The owners were there to greet us, and explained all the ins and outs, and what to dos. The view is amazing, and the accommodations were comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. The beds are comfortable, as well. Just an FYI, this lovely place sits at the top 2 floors on the building. There is no elevator, and the climb is around 60-ish spiral stairs. It would not stop me from staying here again. Thank you Anne Marie and Bertrand Collette!
