Relax in our holiday flat from your everyday stress. Our flat is located approx. 600 metres outside Helminghausen. With us you have no street noise, but pure nature. The distance to the Diemelsee is approx. 1.2 km. The cosy FEWO is designed for 2-3 persons. The flat has a separate entrance, its own car park, as well as an adjoining lawn with seating, barbecue and deckchairs. The kitchen is equipped with a cooker, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer and everything you need for a good kitchen (spices, coffee filters, washing-up liquid, tea towels, blender, ...). In the living room there is a modern couch, a satellite TV, a hi-fi system, a DVD player, books, CDs, DVDs and a wood-burning stove, in front of which you can spend many cosy hours. The bathroom has a shower, washing facilities and a WC. Towels and bed linen are provided. The two bedrooms are located on the upper floor and are each furnished with a double bed (180 x 200; 140 x 200). A cot can be added, as well as a further bed (90 x 200). Additional blankets and pillows are available on request. The upper floor is connected to the lower floor by a relatively steep staircase, which is only partially suitable for physically disabled persons and dogs. Pets are very welcome by prior arrangement !!! (Water and food bowls are available) Helminghausen is a district of the town of Marsberg and is located in the south-western part of the town. The town boundary here also forms the district boundary of the Hochsauerlandkreis and the state boundary between NRW and Hessen. The boundary line runs through the Diemel dam. Helminghausen has around 215 inhabitants and lies at an altitude of 344 metres above sea level (below the dam wall). The height of the neighbouring Eisenberg is 595m. The townscape is characterised in particular by tourism. There is a campsite, a pit-pat facility, a pub, a village community hall, a sports field, a tennis court, a children's playground and much more in and around the village. Possible activities on the Diemelsee: - Boat trips (pedal boats, electric boats, rowing boats or speed boats) - Diving in the diving bay - Surfing, sailing - Fishing - and not forgetting swimming
