"Had an amazing week here. Everything you would need for a home away from home and much more. Had a couple of minor problems in our trip, first one sorted within 10 minutes with a phone call back and the second (a leaky sink) was fixed first thing the next morning, would have been same day but we were out. Love the fact that you have everything on their Zzzzing app so easy to contact them. Would definitely recommend and stay again ourselves. Definite 10 out of 10 for us."

"This is a fantastic find of a hotel with an old world feel ( the elegant furnishings) in a modern style setting . All staff were welcoming and very professional and friendly. Breakfast was plentiful with a good selection of food on offer. Definitely recommend a sea view room in order to enjoy the activity in this working harbour. Rooftop pool was lovely and not too crowded."

"We stayed in a penthouse for 5 days with our teenage daughter. Lots of room for all of us and fabulous facilities. We loved the hot tub on the huge balcony. The resort is in the perfect location overlooking its beautiful beach. The staff were fabulous - nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend."

"We were lucky enough to get a suite with a view of the harbor. The suite had a separate living room, so my sister and I each got our own space and separate air conditioning units. The suite was quite roomy with a lot of space. Hotel was fairly well located. We had an excellent view of Valletta and the entrance to the harbor. There were restaurants and shops close by and we were only a 10 min walk to the Ferry. This hotel was great and I would stay there again."

"This is a well appointed amazing hotel. I had no idea how large it was. It’s very efficiently run. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It is very clean The children’s pool with slides is perfect - we had my 2 year old granddaughter with us. Ricardos and Luzzo restaurants are particularly good. In both restaurants there are large well equipped children’s areas. We also liked the adults area especially the sky bar in the evenings and had a wonderful meal at Minoa restaurant on 11th floor with fab views over the bay. The outside area is safe and pleasant unlike many popular areas in Malta which are just shocking. AX hotel is expertly run and I wouldn’t hesitate to highly recommend this hotel"
