The Riad was wonderful and clean, Sam and Youness made us feel really welcome, the room was great and the roof top terrace was great when having breakfast, it's also nice to relax up there too, it was so quiet and peaceful when you were inside the Riad, all the staff were great and nothing was too much trouble, the food was amazing, all freshly cooked. We couldn't fault anything about the Riad.

Beautiful architecture, Arabic style "family-run" riad. In the historical center of Marrakesh. I believe 6 rooms. Indoor swimming pool.

Riad in the heart of the medina

This is a lovely Riad beautifully run by Sam & Youness who cannot do enough for you. The maccomodation was tasteful, basic but more than adequate. Wi-fi throughout. Rooftop area was nice although the view was limited and not that attractive. Meals I thought were excellent and better than the meal I had at the Al la Carte Restaurant in the new city. The Medina itself is very rundown and I was constantly hassled by locals. I did find this quite intimidating and so ended up spending more time in the Riad which was fine - but you do need to be prepared for the attention you will get as a tourist. Overall no complaints regarding my accommodation at all I would highly recommend it. However Morocco and Marrakesh are not places I intend to visit again.

Five star service in boutique riad

This riad is a gem in the heart of the medina. Excellent facilities, beautiful surroundings and the owners and staff are amazing people. I have never been more sad to leave a place. It felt like leaving good friends. The riad was super clean, the bed comfy, the rooms just what was needed after a long day in the souks! Gorgeous roof terrace where you can see the mountains. They organized airport transfers; excursions and a hammam for us. Sent us into Marrakech with a mobile in case we needed help, and took me to the pharmacy when I needed some medication. the food was sublime; all freshly prepared and cooked. Breakfast was delicious and the staff are attentive without being overbearing. Sam and Youness are wonderful people who have built and oasis in the heart of Marrakech. I implore you to go and stay at this amazing riad you won't be disappointed!

Vakkert, rolig, men trangt og overpriset

Vertinnen overstrømmende vennlig og svært pratsom. Vi ble servert tradisjonell middag ved ankomst. Den var OK men ordinær standard, på linje med den type måltider vi i løpet av oppholdet fikk overalt til middag og lunsj - standard Tagine, bare at her var prisen 3 ggr. så høy som hvorsomhelst ellers. For de 650 nok vi beltalte, ville vi fått et måltid av en helt annen kvalitet hvorsomhelst, tilogmed i Norge. Vårt inntrykk var at dette stedet visste å ta seg betalt. Vi ble belastet 30€ for å bli hentet på flyplassen, mens vår neste Riad tok 16€ for samme tjeneste omtrent samme avstand. Stedet var vakkert dekorert, men stort sett ganske trangt. Overpriset ble vårt hovedinntrykk.

Wonderful hosts made this a special stay

We had a wonderful and memorable stay at Riad Romance. Sam and Youness were fabulous hosts who greeted us warmly and with very practical tips about the city to orient us and make us feel secure. They were available to answer any questions or concerns. We also had a delicious (and, true to the Riad's name, romantic) dinner at the Riad on our last night. All the staff were friendly. Our room was lovely and quiet, and the riad well-located.

Very nice hotel close to center

What an incredible experience! It is usually impossible to find a place that offers such good quality in everything. From the cleaness to the enviroment, food and the availibility of Sam and Youssef to the staff. We highly recomend this riad.
