I had a great stay at Riad Papillon. They arranged my transportation to and from the airport. The driver picked me up from the airport and drove me to the entrance of the Medina where someone from the Riad met me to help with my bags and walk me to the Riad. It is a very charming, quiet place to stay within minutes walk to everything. Breakfast was great and the concierge services were helpful and appreciated. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Great little riad! Very clean, spacious for 2 ( we had twin beds) & large bathroom. We had a really good breakfast everyday, Youseff was amazing, attentive and Sooooo helpful! He gave us directions, recommendations and great tips for the area! Ali was wonderful and sweet as well! The riad was very close to everything! Thank you team Riad Papillion for a memorable atay!!!!

Our stay at Riad Papillon was truly memorable. The Riad itself is beautiful and comfortable, located in the historic medina. Lovely views of the mountains and the “red city.” It’s so convenient to museums, shops, and restaurants. We could easily walk to most attractions. The staff were warm, helpful, and responsive to all our questions. The morning breakfast table was overflowing with delicious pastries and fresh fruit and all the Moroccan favorites. Hope to return someday!

The riad was great, the manager wonderful, the breakfast delicious and generous. I wish I had more knowledge of the taxi system and baggage retrieval, we thought we were being robbed but it was actually a helper!

The riad and rooms were charming, decorated in traditional Moroccan style, clean and comfortable. The thing that REALLY stood out was the impeccable service from the very attentive staff from check-in, to full service breakfast and check-out.

Amazing palace to stay, with great and friendly staff. The staff went out of there to make me feel welcomed and Marrakesh. They also gave good insight to activities and spots to visit. They also warn you about Hustlers that will try to show you the way to hotel, they charged me $20 for 5 minutes of time (as I sadly found out because I didn’t listen). They are persistent everywhere in Marrakesh and not just limited to the hotels, don’t let them follow you and don’t interact with them.

Location is ideal. Located in the heart of the Medina and very accessible by walk. Staff were very friendly. Facility a lot older and outdated than what it looked on the website. Shower hardly worked. Bed was clean but very hard. TV did. It work. Not other facilities except sleeping and continental breakfast.

Je commencerai par remercier l'ensemble de l'équipe du Riad Papllion ! On se sent tellement bien quand on arrive ici, le cadre est merveilleux, une ambiance douce et chaleureuse, une décoration soigné de l'entrée jusqu'au toit terrasse. Quel plaisir de revenir après chaque sortie et d'être accueilli par un membre du personnel qui se preoccupe de savoir comment vous allez et si vous avez passé une belle journée (le plus par rapport à un hôtel classique). Il est proche de tout à pied. Le petit déjeuner est bien copieux et très bon ! Nous avons eu également la chance d'y manger un soir, de l'entrée jusqu'au dessert, mille et une saveurs !! Le tajine de poulet aux citrons confits, un régal !! Également un petit goûter avec les crêpes, excellent aussi ! J'allais oublié le thé, une odeur à tombé par terre et le goût, une explosion de saveurs, j'ai eu droit à un petit cours avant de partir, merci beaucoup pour cette jolie découverte et d'avoir pris le temps !! Nous avons également effectués 2 sorties via le riad, une dans la vallée de l'Ourika et l'autre avec les dromadaires, rien à redire. Au final, nous vous passés un excellent séjour, que je n'oublierai pas c'est certain, merci mille fois pour tout !! Je reviendrai ici la prochaine fois. Allez-y les yeux fermés, vous ne serez pas déçu !!
