This is a lovely, traditional Riad in the heart of the Medina. It is very conveniently located and walking distance to the main square, several museums/attractions, and many great eateries. Staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. The room itself was beautifully decorated and was very clean. Breakfast was freshly prepared daily. The air conditioning in the room was not the best and we were there during very hot time. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend this property for anyone visiting Marrakech and wanting a wonderful, authentic experience!

While the staff & the mgt’s attitude to the service quality was excellent, the location of the property & the accessibility has major issues. About 500 m walk on uneven surface, through crowded, dirty & confusing allies from taxi drop off point to the hotel is just not an ideal for a tourist in a new place. Particularly in the evening when dark felt very unsafe walking around. I am surprised these issues were not highlighted by previous travellers.

This Riad is in a great location for access to the Souqs, Square and other tourist attractions. It’s also close to several restaurants. The food was great and the staff were very nice, polite and helpful. We would definitely go back!

Perfect Moroccan stay

Absolutely wonderful stay at Riad Capaldi. The Moroccan hospitality was out of this world. The breakfast on the rooftop terrace every morning was delicious. Beautifully peaceful oasis in the midst of the chaotic medina.

Amazing stay here!

We loved our stay at Riad Capaldi. It’s a beautiful Riad and feels very authentic. The staff were so helpful and went above and beyond to facilitate us. I’d highly recommend staying here if you want to stay in central Marrakech.

Our host Bader was amazing and gave us so many great recommendations. The service exceeded all expectations and the experience was all positive. He helped us book a few of our excursions and helped us navigate the surrounding area. The breakfast was also a great experience and we got to enjoy it with the rooftop view. Staff were very helpful. Always enthusiastic and will to offer advice or assistance. I’d highly recommend talking directly to Riad for travel arrangements coming to and from accommodation. Very central Riad and great attentive management , lovely rooftop breakfast and clean rooms , thank you Alistair and Sylvia . Having stayed two night at Riad Capaldi , we transferred to Hotel Capaldi which was a very tranquil hotel , circa 40km from central Marrakech . Hotel Capaldi was first class for a relaxing and tranquil stay with great staff , food , spa etc , could not fault at all , lovely hotel , pool and grounds .

I had a fantastic stay at Riad Capaldi in Marrakesh. The riad is in a great location - peaceful yet walkable to all the main attractions, making it the perfect base for exploring the city. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the traditional decor added to the charm of the experience. Breakfast was lovely, with a good selection to start the day right. However, what truly made my stay exceptional was the outstanding service provided by Mehdi and Bader. They went above and beyond in every way, ensuring I felt welcome and well looked after throughout my stay. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made all the difference, and I can’t praise them enough. I would not hesitate to return and highly recommend this riad to anyone visiting Marrakesh!

Fantastic place to stay!

In the heart of the Medina, step right out into the vibrant city and what a treat to return to such a calm and tranquil place. The rooftop terrace was much larger than most and the Riad has such a relaxed vibe. Maraoune and Bader were great hosts. Reserve your couscous in advance for your 1st night stay, it was delicious. After that there are several good restaurants nearby. Hope to return one day!
