De kamers waren supermooi en netjes. Ze werden elke dag gekuist en telkens met nieuwe handdoeken. Enkel waren ze een beetje koud, zeker in de nacht. Het personeel was zeer behulpzaam en maakte iedere ochtend een (te) simpel ontbijt dat we op het terras in de zon konden benuttigen. Er werd ons wel nooit Marokkaanse thee aangeboden of flessen met water aangezien kraanwater niet drinkbaar is daar. De wifi werkte, maar enkel in bepaalde stukken van de riad en niet in de kamers. Na een paar keer, en met de kaart erbij was de riad zeer makkelijk te vinden in de doolhof van straatjes, misschien nog ergens een aanwijzingsbord hangen? Alles bij elkaar raad ik Riad Al Karama zeker aan, gezien de prijs, de centrale maar rustige ligging en de service.

el riad es bonito decorado,y tiene 5 habitaciones, y solo 2 de ellos son recomendables para 2 personas. no hay suficiente espacio para poder salir de la cama para 2 personas.yo estuve sola, y tuve que mover la cama hacia la pared, que si no, me golpeaba la cabeza en un arco a salir .ademas había un olor desagradable por un problema de tubería en el baño. el wifi no llegaba ala cama, un poco decepcionante.no había aire acondicionado en la habitación, aunque otras habitaciones tenia, con un suplemento de 5 euro por noche. el desayuno fue algo simple para el precio de la habitacion. me he alojado en mas de 15 riads distintos en marrakech y era lamentable que no ofrecian el tipico zumo de naranja ni el te marroqui.no me habia pasado en ninguno de los otros, y aun mas baratos. la ubicacion es justo aceptable,si es la primera vez , igual no gusta tant

Muy recomendable estancia. El personal, tanto Michel como el guardian o las personas que asistían con los desayunos un trato ejemplar. Nos cambiaron las horas de desayuno cuando fue necesario por excursiones, limpieza diaria de habitaciones, cambio de toallas... Todo perfecto. Al estar localizado dentro de la medina en una calle no principal, si que recomendamos el transporte privado que nos ofreció Michel, ya que no se si seríamos capaces de haber llegado por nuestra cuenta. Una vez allí, ningún problema para movernos y a 5-10 minutos de casi todos los puntos de la medina, esta literalmente en el centro de esta. Muchisimas gracias por el trato recibido!!

Im Hotel gab es Bier zu trinken, was in Marokko sonst nicht so üblich ist. Schlecht war eher der weite Fußweg zum Hotel.

Prachtige Riad op loopafstand van alle bezienswaardigheden. Het ligt een beetje verborgen maar na 1x te zijn verdwaald hebben we het altijd terug kunnen vinden. De kamers zijn schoon en door het mooie binnenplein en dakterras met zitplaatsen waren ze groot genoeg. Er zijn ook maar 5 kamers wat het erg vriendelijk en kleinschalig maakt. Het personeel was vriendelijk en het ontbijt prima. Het enige minpunt is dat het in handen is van een Frans stel, en zoals de Fransen zijn spreken ze geen woord Engels, of zullen geen moeite doen om Engels te praten. De eigenaar Michel is vrij zakelijk en daarom raden we aan om excursies via een erkend bureau (zie tripadvisor/lonely planet) te regelen en niet in het hostel om verwarring te voorkomen en je hebt gewoon meer keuze. We hebben er een erg fijne tijd gehad!

Charmant riad à deux pas de la place Jamma El Fna, avec une terrasse très agréable pour y prendre le petit déjeuner. Les propriétaires sont de bons conseils et prévenants, la cuisine excellente et les employés aux petits soins

Dejlig og rolig riad

Vi havde et rigtig godt ophold på Riad el Karama, som er en meget flot riad der er holdt autentisk med flot indretning. Super god transferservice, som kan anbedales. Personalet og ejeren var søde og hjælpsomme og der var fin morgenmad. Selvom stedet ligger kun 5 minutters fra den store plads og 2 minutter fra Souken var der meget stille og roligt. Vi ville gerne have haft mulighed for at lave en kop te på værelset, men derudover havde vi et perfekt ophold!

Erholsames und kleines Riad Mitten in der Medina

Wir übernachteten als Paar für eine ganze Woche im Riad Al Karama. Wir haben das kleinste Zimmer gebucht, welches klein aber fein war. Es wurde jeden Tag aufs Neue geputzt. Die Mitarbeitenden des Riads waren äusserst freundlich und hatten immer ein Lächeln auf dem Gesicht. Das ganze Riad ist sehr stilvoll eingerichtet und lädt zum Entspannen ein.

Fint inredda rum. Härlig terass som dock inte gick att använda 2/3 frukostar. Påtaglig avloppsdoft i rummet. Väldigt lyhört till de andra rummen. Ingen möjlighet att låsa rummet. Otrevlig ägare men trevlig övrig personal.

Quiet Oasis in Medina

Very nice lil Riad in a quiet part of Medina, the hotel is a bit tricky to find on the first try but not too hard once you find it. Maybe couple signs on the streets would be good. The Riad is very clean with only few rooms so it's not too crowded. Our room was in first floor and was qo quiet at night. The toilet has a weird window to the courtyard, some might find this uncomfortable. The roof was still in "winter" shape and wasnt in use. Breakfast was decent with bread, yogurt, jam/marmelade, tee, coffee and juice. WiFi didnt work in our room, very very thick walls. But in the living area it was OK. Tips to find the hotel if you read this! From the main street, there is ad for ISIS Spa on the street you must turn to, forward, right, left, forward till there is a small kiosk in a T section take left and then left. The riad is door on your right about middle of the street with white frame around the door and brass sign telling "Riad Al Karama" Hope this helps you if your GPS doesnt track you all the way ;)

Joli riad mais ...

Pas de clef aux portes. Pas de WIFI dans certaines chambres. La fenêtre de la salle de bain d'une des chambres donnant sur le patio ne se ferme pas donc absence totale d'intimité. Je jus d'orange servit au petit déjeuner est chimique !!! Lorsque j'en ai fait la remarque au propriétaire celui-ci a prétendu que c'était du pur jus. Bref le propriétaire est malhonnête et semble davantage intéressé par son tiroir caisse que par l'idée d'offrir un lieu de vie convivial ! Notez en revanche que le personnel est quand à lui très professionnel et à l'écoute.

Nettes Riad inmitten der Altstadt

Sehr freundliches Personal in einer geschmackvoll gestalteten Ruheoase. Auf einer heimelige Dachterrasse wird das Frühstück serviert. Unser Zimmer lag im Erdgeschoss, war dennoch hell genug und mit Fenstern und Türen in den gepflegten Innenhof ausgerichtet ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen.

Comme à la maison

Arrivés de Paris, nous avons passé les 2 premières nuits de notre séjour au sein de ce merveilleux riad, et la dernière nuit, à notre retour d'Essaouira. L'accueil est charmant, le personnel adorable, nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous. Mention spéciale à Aziz! Et Joséphine, la tortue. Je recommande vivement cet endroit calme, agréable, et très bien situé.
