Three bedroom chalet on Sixteen Mile Lake

  • The Buck Rack Chalet is nestled in the Hiawatha National Forest with 100 ft. of waterfront property on Sixteen Mile Lake. This three bedroom chalet is the perfect destination for a family or group of friends to gather for relaxation and fun.
    In the summer months, enjoy fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and swimming in the lake. Take a short 15 -30 minute trip to the Pictured Rocks, a glass bottom shipwreck tour on Lake Superior, the beaches of Lake Superior, or bike around Grand Island.
    During the winter, there is no better place to stay to enjoy the hundreds of miles of groomed snowmobile trails the area has to offer. Our cabin sits right in the center of the lake effect snowbelt in the Upper Pennisula.
    Munising is 12 miles from the chalet where you will find a large grocery store, restaurants, gas stations, gift shops, churches, and bars. There is also a really nice Visitor's Center there with lots of information about the area. Make your reservation today!
