Pictures can be deceiving. Walls were peeling, furniture had no cushioning, floors sounded like they had no support. Felt like I was back in a frat house at NMU. On a positive side it was warm and the beds were comfortable.

Everything was absolutely perfect! It was the perfect space for my stay. I loved the ambiance—it brought back memories of an old farmhouse I once lived in. It was super quiet at night. The beds are the most comfortable I’ve had while traveling. Everything went extremely smoothly.

The location was perfect, we could walk downtown and also up to 3rd st. Nice quiet neighborhood and on-site parking.

Perfect fall getaway!
We loved the character of this apartment- it’s so cozy, yet very spacious too! It’s close to so many places to eat and shop- if you like walking, it’s a beautiful walk down to the harbor and marina. Just walking anywhere around Marquette is lovely. The leaves were amazing! So many hiking trails to drive to. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again! Thank you Carrie!

Great place!
We really enjoyed our stay here. Carrie's place is close to everything, it was easy to walk or bike to the lake or places to eat. The apartment was lovely and the kitchen was well-stocked for cooking. Bonus: seating on the front porch. We'd definitely stay here again!

Great stay in Marquette
This place was close to downtown bars and restaurants. The house is charming and the beds were amazingly comfortable. I love the quirk of the clawfoot tub and the house was decorated with care. Great place!

Vintage home with great location
This place gets 5 stars because it’s 100% as advertised. Great location, fast responsiveness of host, clean and all the basics you need. Some good things to be aware of in this vintage/eclectic place as others have stated are that in the bathroom, the claw tub/shower is a bit hard to reach (both for those that are mobility and height challenged) plus there were 3 of us and one bath towel per person for our stay; plenty of wash cloths. For the bedrooms, note there is no A/C or darkening shades. Great bars, bakeries and bike paths nearby. Enjoy!

As advertised; great location, clean, nice linens and other basics, NO old house smell or allergens (I’m sensitive to both), quiet, comfy beds, basic kitchen supplies, plenty of space, good wifi. Good communication w/ host. One specific note for the mobility challenged. The shower is inside the claw foot tub. Getting in and out could be a difficult.

Quick getaway in Marquette
Exactly what we were looking for. Close walk to downtown or a quick bike ride to Blackrocks or Mtn biking trails. I would definitely rent this property again. The owner was very nice. I wish we would have done one more night.

Great Location!
What a great location in Marquette! The place comfortable fit our family and it was great to have a fridge and kitchen to store food. We loved being close to Black Rocks Brewing, Third Street Bagel and Contrast Coffee. Split a sampler of Kombucha at Superior Culture located down a few blocks. Highly recommend renting bikes from MQT Bikes which is just two blocks away. They were great to work with and accommodate us last minute. We had a great bike ride along the lakeshore of Marquette to Presque Isle.

Our stay was enjoyable and relaxing. The house had everything we needed and was perfect to walk to downtown to avoid the nightmare of finding parking. Our daughter even took in a college visit at NMU. The hosts supplied everything we needed and were quick to return messages. Definitely recommend for those who enjoy vacationing in the city.

Simple accommodations, great location
The main floor we rented was basic, but perfect for a guys weekend biking trip. Two comfortable beds in the bedrooms, the pull-out couch mattress is past it’s usable life as a bed. Very close to black rocks brewery and lots of great restaurants downtown. Terrific location.

It is an excellent place to stay. If I could give it more stars I would. Close to everything you'd want. Bagel shop just a few steps. The ice cream shop 2 blocks up. Nice shops along the next block. Eating places within walking. I was impressed with cleanliness of the hose. Everything you'd need to cook was available for use.

Teal House with Sassy Top
House is teal, with a sassy purple top… it begs to be noticed! I loved that my kids could walk to the library from this property. Lots of great sunlight in the living room and spacious dining area. Owners are pleasant and easy to access by text. We were very comfortable during our stay!

The beds were comfy. Plenty of room to sit and relax.
This is an old property but very clean. If you like old homes this is the place for you. It is well stocked for cooking meals. We would stay here again.

This was a convenient, adequate stay for the price. Kitchen was well-stacked, and everything was clean. We used the pull out bed and chair for our kids, and it took us forever to figure out why the sofa bed was so terrible, buuuuut it inflates! ☺️ The kids didn't have such comfortable sleeps, but that's not unusual for pull-out sleeping.y friend and I are tall, so we both had to sleep diagonally in the double beds with footboards, but that's the nature of those beds. All in all, a good value and a cute apartment and home.

Avoid during Covid
The property was not cleaned thoroughly after the last use (dirty counters, trash overflowing with beer cans etc.). Because one of our party is a diabetic (and thus in a risk category for Covid), we felt we couldn't stay there. When we asked for a 1/2 refund, we got a snarky response suggesting that we should probably not be travelling and denying the request. Apparently expecting a spotless place - even during the Covid pandemic - is too much to ask.

We enjoyed our time. We had a great little place.
The process was not as user friendly as we thought it should be. I had to download the app to get everything. I didn’t like that. I don’t have to do that with any other bookings company. I don’t like that.
