Washington and Front Streets showcase original brick facades and vintage shopfronts. The Lower Harbour offers scenic waterfront paths where travellers can watch boats and stunning sunsets. Walkable streets connect local brewpubs, boutique shops, and farm-to-table restaurants serving whitefish and pasties. Northern Michigan University adds youthful energy to the area. Most attractions sit within four blocks, making exploration easy without a car.

Founders Landing

Founders Landing gives you front-row access to Lake Superior's stunning shoreline and Marquette's rich maritime heritage. The scenic boardwalk invites leisurely strolls with historical markers telling tales of the city's iron ore shipping past. Modern condos blend with the natural landscape, creating a peaceful waterfront escape. This area balances quiet residential charm with easy city centre access. Take in panoramic lake views, watch pleasure boats bob in the harbour, or enjoy starlit evening walks. The pristine shoreline offers perfect photography spots while connecting to Marquette's extensive trail system.

Downtown

City centre Marquette offers a refreshing blend of history and lakeside charm along the shores of Lake Superior. Historic red sandstone buildings stand alongside the iconic ore dock structures, telling stories of the city's mining past. "Our suite truly was a suite. There's a complete kitchen with cooktop,, pots and pans, utensils, and dishwasher. The comfortable bed has a night stand and reading light on both sides, plus down pillows All the expected amenities are there - microwave, large fridge, coffee, etc., . Square footage was outstanding. Even the usually dreary self-serve breakfast was a step above the norm. There is a comfortable common area for a small group, just off the main lobby, with a huge screen TV, books, and board games. Earlier on this 3-week trip we had stayed at a place half as good and twice as expensive. This was the best value I've seen in a hotel - well - ever!"
