"Cosy small french hotel, but it is stuck in the 90's and needs a makeover. The wallpaper on our room had started to loosen from the walls, and the bathroom light didn't work. The staff tried to fix it, but wasn't able to. (We were allowed to use the bathroom in another vacant room instead, so they did their best to solve the issue). "We hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad in dit prachtige huis! Vanaf het moment dat we aankwamen, voelden we ons meteen welkom. Het huis is ontzettend sfeervol, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Alles was netjes verzorgd en er is duidelijk veel aandacht besteed aan comfort en details.De locatie is ook geweldig en maakte ons verblijf helemaal compleet. We hebben volop genoten van de rust, de omgeving en natuurlijk van het huis zelf. Het voelde echt als een plek waar je even helemaal kunt ontspannen en tot rust kunt komen.De communicatie met de verhuurder was prettig, snel en vriendelijk. Alles was duidelijk geregeld en we voelden ons goed geholpen wanneer dat nodig was.Kortom: een heerlijke plek waar we met veel plezier op terugkijken. We zouden dit huis absoluut aanraden en komen hier graag nog eens terug! Een dikke 5 sterren! "

"Catherine was a wonderful host. Very welcoming and friendly.We are an extended family group (children from 11-17) and so the accommodation was ideal with lots of bedrooms. The covered eating area outside was great for social games and eating. The area indoor areas stayed cool on the hot days.We all enjoyed the pool area for cooling off and Catherine and her daughter had set up a volleyball net which we thoroughly enjoyed using. Lots of loungers and seating around the pool too.In DOMPIERRE sure Bresbe we were able to shop for provisions at the supermarket.The local area is quiet but close by there is a theme park and zoo (le Pal) which is well worth a visit for the animals and the rides. Moulins (30 mins away) has a riverside area with table tennis, boules, volleyball and a supervised small swimming area. We also booked our canoe trip here which involved the company driving us up river and we then paddled back to base over a few hours. You can also hire bikes from here at the tourist information.Thank you for a wonderful week Catherine."

"This is a lovely hotel. Unfortunately, we arrived during a heat wave and the air conditioning was not working. However, the owner had advised us in advance about the situation and couldn't have been more helpful in aiding a comfortable night's sleep by providing us with two fans. They worked very well and we had a good night's rest. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. We had tea and coffee making facilities in our room and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay here again."

"Nous avons passé un très beau séjour dans cette maison. La piscine est vraiment magnifique et a été l’un des points forts de nos vacances. La maison est spacieuse, confortable et très agréable à vivre, même à plusieurs.Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié que le linge de maison, les serviettes de bain et les serviettes de plage soient fournis, ce qui est un vrai plus et facilite le séjour.Quelques petits points pourraient toutefois être améliorés : la salle de jeux est un peu vieillotte et mériterait un léger rafraîchissement. Il est également dommage que les parasols soient abîmés, ce qui ne permet pas d’en profiter pleinement.Malgré ces quelques détails, nous avons passé un excellent séjour et recommandons cette maison sans hésiter"
