Our host, Fienie was very welcoming and the property was very attractive and clean. We were upgraded to a larger room which was a lovely surprise. Our room was tastefully decorated, quiet and warm (it was winter) and breakfast the next morning by the log fire was plentiful. We would definitely stay at Aan de Oever B & B if we travelled the Garden Route again. Fienie suggested that we drive towards Barrydale through the Tradauws Pass the next morning. A wonderful boutique hotel with excellent staff, food, drink and rooms. Well located in the centre of Swellendam. Highly recommended.

We are cyclists from Australia and have been travelling for 5 years. We really enjoyed our stay here. Everything was wonderful, comfy beds, lovely sofa to sit on . Super peaceful and the staff very accommodating to all our needs. Especially grateful to being able to safely store our two bicycles which are very valuable to us. Close to a fabulous restaurant too!
