"This hotel is a typical English pub hotel best suited to those with a car. We had requested a ground floor room but were allocated an upstairs room on arrival. However, this was changed by the receptionist and the room we got was fine. It was a good size and looked out on the bar courtyard, fortunately quiet as it was cold and wet outside. The bathroom was fine and bed comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and the evening meals were good."

"Staff were all really lovely and helpful - family room was a great size with two large double beds and clean in general (although the carpet was sticky!!) pool facilities were small but nice just hard to get booked in due to it being popular but we managed one swim (remeber your £1 for the locker). We stayed for 3 nights whilst visiting the space centre and Cadbury world and it was the perfect half way base for this. The hotel itself is really big and there were a number of conferences happening whilst we were there but this didn’t affect us (ie noise etc) overall great stay and we will hopfully be back again as we have friends down south and this will be a great halfway point to meet up!"
