"My mother and I stayed overnight for a wedding. We needed to check in before 4pm so we could change and be at the wedding on time. I called the front desk and spoke to Mary. She was so helpful and told us it works be ready when we got there around 2:30. The run was so clean you could smell it. Plenty of towels, tons of pillows, and the bed was very comfortable. "The inside of the house has been remodeled and done very nicely. Perfect place for 2 couples looking to spend time at Starved Rock Park. The only negative I can have on this property is, they advertised that there is WIFI and when I asked to get the password, I never heard from the owner again. Otherwise great experience."

"Based on the pictures you would think this was a simple but very nice home. However, once we checked in, just from the outside you could tell it has not been kept up. The deck is worn and weeds and trees are growing along side it. Inside, there were numerous things wrong, including a strong smell of cat pee that was in the hallway and got stronger in the bedroom. I let the owner know and she said she would have the cleaning crew check it out. However, it was clear that the countertops had not...
